Call them up! They already have the tracking numbers but they are only revealed online when it's delivered. I called, they asked some security questions to make sure I was who I said I was and then they gave me the tracking number! I told them I want to make sure I am home when the my card is out for delivery

I would wait. It will be delivered in two days. If you really want the number as soon as your notified it has been mailed. They should have the tracking number.

I got another notification about my i-485 saying "Welcome notice was mailed" <---- is "welcome notice" sent with the greencard?

Just got aprroved at the interview today. I'm so happy right now.

The officer was really nice, he asked us some questions about our relationship, the supporting documents/photos and went through the I-485 questions.

He didnt take copies of any documents we brought, nor the photos.

At the end, he gave us the approval notice and explain about removal of condition, citizenship.

It takes like 20 minutes, really smooth and no stress or pressure at all, just like normal conversation.

Cant wait to have the real card on hand.

Did you get a notification (email, text or change in the website) when they schedule your interview? My "USCIS page" changed to application ready to be schedule for an interview on November 25th buy Nothing has changed since then and I haven't gotten a notice for the interview.

Did you get your EAD card? How soon?

Yes, you will be notify by emails/sms if you sign-up for e-notify when the interview for your case has been scheduled on a specific date. Also the status of the i-485 will also change at that time, giving you the date of your interview.

It took 8 days (yes just 8 days) for us to get the date for interview. You also can take a look our timeline in the signature

My EAD got delayed, I havent had it yet. My AP got approved after 2 months from the day we submitted the application.

So yesterday I went to the social security office I got my EAD a couple days ago. Such a breeze. Walked in and was out within 7 mins tops. My card will be sent priority mail so I should have it soon.

Once it comes off to the dmv for state id. I don't drive.

Hey Everyone,

Has Anyone ever dealt with having to show documents for your criminal record? I am from Canada and have one from my youth. I called the court house they claim they do not do letters stating there is no longer a record. Any help would be appreiciated. My EAD card has come in and my interview is on January 15th 2015 at 12:45

I'm not sure anyone has answered this for you- you can request your records from the police- and pay a fee (you might be able to expedite by paying extra, I know that's an option in the UK)... if you're going home for Christmas it will make life a bit easier fingerprints wise!

BUT... it will just come back that there's no record as your youth record will be sealed sealed/destroyed (unless you did something very very naughty indeed!), so you DON'T actually have a record to declare. Check with the local police force to ensure that it's been sealed or destroyed

Thank you for your response. I got the letter declaring what I need to bring to my interview. They want court certified copies of my charges and the end result which i can understand. I contented the youth court and did a search a couple months ago and it came 2 days after I filed. Of course. So that I still have in my possession. They also wanted all probation records and any alternative measures records. Alternative measures is where you do community service and are not charged by the courts. It doesn't go on your record.

Problem is this was from 12 years ago so those have since been destroyed and there is no way I can obtain them. The charges were not bad enough to keep it on hand longer.

So now I can only suit my court records I actually have. I've only been on probation once. Which I have a copy of the Court order outlining the details. But that is all I have.

My criminal record has been coming up clean for years now. All was expunged in 2007-2008.

Again thank you for contacting me and replying to me. I am still going to look into a police check and see if that would be helpful at all.

I wish I was going home for Christmas. I didn't apply for advance parole with my application. But when I go down there I will be going down to the court house and getting multiple copies because in 2-3 years the records wil disappear as well.

Atleast there is some progress for you. You should call them and speak to a tier 2 officer. They will explain whats going on with your petition.All the best.

Just checked the mail today and I received a letter saying that my interview date is for Jan 29th at 10AM...after they emailed me saying that it was cancelled.

From what I've read I should still attend because they sometimes have errors with the notifications.But another step down in the process!!!

I didn't get any notification until I received the letter today. I got the cancelled notification first and then received the interview date letter. I'm going regardless! Woohoo!!!!
