Hi everyone! We had our interview today and it was sooooooo fun! The officer was really nice and it's like she's just having a friendly conversation with us. Here's what happened:

First was she asked us to stand up, raise our right hand and swear that everything we say will be the truth. And then she asked us first and foremost, which was also like the only question that she asked, was if I had any intention to get married when I came here last April (as I entered via tourist visa), which I answered no, because my husband just surprised me and spoke to my parents who were also visiting! She then asked the questions on the I-485 form on terrorism, felonies, etc, all of which I said 'no' to. And then she asked for documents to support our relationship and the rest was just plain conversation, like three longtime friends catching up! She then told me that she will go back to Anchorage to update my status, and I will be receiving an e-mail that my card is in production, and I will be receiving my green card in a month. She even shared where she was from, and we commended her great personality! Yay!

Ahh! All the wait was worth it! I am really glad that she was nice enough to make everything so smooth and easy! We were there for around 10-15 mins! I hope everyone will have a great interview as well! Happy Holidays!

Hey congratulations! How long after entering the USA did you get married btw?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

Oh wow sounds great!!! Congrats :) makes me feel better as I came as a tourist and coincidently in April too!!

Happy holidays to you too, enjoy your green card!

What kind of evidence did you bring with you???

Thank you!!! I just brought ought our tenant update form from our apartment (my name was on the list of people living in the assigned apartment number), then a copy of my husband's insurance policy where I am his primary beneficiary. Those two she kept. The others, like letters, money transfers, she didn't even take a look at, she just noted. And she didn't look at our pictures at all!

Oh I'm glad it went okay. I have always been worried because I entered on a visitor visa as well. Getting married was never our intention. I'm happy it went all good. What kind of evidence did you take with you?

Just got aprroved at the interview today. I'm so happy right now.

The officer was really nice, he asked us some questions about our relationship, the supporting documents/photos and went through the I-485 questions.

He didnt take copies of any documents we brought, nor the photos.

At the end, he gave us the approval notice and explain about removal of condition, citizenship.

It takes like 20 minutes, really smooth and no stress or pressure at all, just like normal conversation.

Cant wait to have the real card on hand.

Thank you guys. We hope that your applications will be approved soon.

I just get the notifications in my email and SMS, but there's no tracking number on the USCIS website.

Should I call them now or just wait few more days to get the tracking number from the Customer Service?

Call them up! They already have the tracking numbers but they are only revealed online when it's delivered. I called, they asked some security questions to make sure I was who I said I was and then they gave me the tracking number! I told them I want to make sure I am home when the my card is out for delivery
