Guys!! After much asking around I found a joint sponsor for the affidavit of support :D

I had them complete an affidavit of support form and give me a copy of their tax return for 2013.

I am about to send of the RFE response but I was wondering, is the affidavit of support and their tax return document enough or do I need to ask them for anything else? :S

( I don't know about the extra documents but I'm sure someone else in same situation will tell you )

Congrats!! Finally I've just got my first SMS/Email notification from USCIS I've submitted I-130, I-485, I-131 and I-765 How many notifications should I expect?

I know with me I Got one for each application with a MSC # so you should get 4. And CONGRATS!!! you should be getting yours any day now. They sent mine out October 4th and I only got it today.

Guys!! After much asking around I found a joint sponsor for the affidavit of support :D

I had them complete an affidavit of support form and give me a copy of their tax return for 2013.

I am about to send of the RFE response but I was wondering, is the affidavit of support and their tax return document enough or do I need to ask them for anything else? :S

I have joint sponsor in our AOS too, we submitted:

- i-864

- Proof of US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident

- Letter from employer stating: salary, last year income, good standing,....

- W2 of 2013

- Tax Return transcript of 2011, 2012, 2013

- last 6 paystubs/paychecks

10/23/2014 - Received Biometric Appointment Letter (for Nov 03) (36)

11/03/2014 - Completed Biometric (47)

11/06/2014 - "Testing and Interview" on I-485 (50)

11/14/2014 - Get the notification stating that our interview has been scheduled (58) on December 18th (92)

11/19/2014 - I-131 status moved to "Advance Parole Document Was Produced"

....

12/18/2014 - Interview (Day 92) , APPROVED ON SPOT

12/19/2014 - Emails and Texts saying I-130 has been approved and I-485 new card is being produced

12/29/2014 - Card was mailed

12/29/2014 - Card was Delivered. Best HAPPY NEW YEAR gift/greet ever!!!

1/5/2018: i751 Case Transferred And New Office Has Jurisdiction

3/5/2018: Another update saying i751 Case Transferred And New Office Has Jurisdiction

5/7/2018: Received Letter stating i751 Case transferred to National Benefits Center, Lee's Summit, MO 64064

5/30/2018: Interview scheduled for N400

7/11/2018: Attended interview and was informed it will be a combo N400/I751 interview

8/6/2018: N400 Approved

8/7/2018: I751 Approved

9/5/2018: Oath Ceremony missed due to travel abroad and letter sent to USCIS to reschedule ceremony

10/2/2018: Officially a US Citizen!

W2 is what salaried workers get from their office showing their income for the year and deductions taken by their employers eg federal taxes.

The 1099 is the equivalent for self-employed people.

Biometrics was done the 21st. I didn't apply for an EAD as I'm a SAHM to a 6 yr old, 3 yr old and 3 month old so I can't imagine working anytime soon.
