Change of i129f papers?

My us bf flying here tomorrow and goes back on the 12th, we are planning to make all papers and make sure we got everything while he's here so when he flies back the 14th can send our petition.

I've read that the i129f papers will change tho, does anyone know when and will uscis put this up ASAP, we have already filled in the i129f papers but I want to make sure we send the new and updated one.

And also, the fee will still be 340$ right?

(Will of course double check on uscis before sending anything)

upper right hand corner of the uscis papers will have an expiration date that those papers will be accepted. As long as your papers are submitted prior to that expiration date, you will be fine and it will be accepted. Make sure you check each form for the expiration date as they are all different and could lead to an RFE if you submit a certain paper after the expiration date!

You can also find on the USCIS website whether or not they will accept previous editions of a form. This applies to any form, not just the I-129F.

In the case of the I-129F form, it says this:

Edition Date

06/13/13. No previous editions accepted.

The edition date is listed at the bottom left of the form itself.

No. The expiration date only matters internally for the USCIS. That expiration date has nothing to do with whether or not it will be acceptable for you to use. The edition date is what matters. The accepted edition dates for the forms are listed on the site where the forms can be found and downloaded.

The current edition is the only one being accepted at the moment for the I-129F, which is 06/13/13.

OP > Why do you believe the I-129F will be changing soon? Even if it were, as long as you submit the current form edition while it is the indeed the current one available for download and use, then you are good to go.
