When you consider that Muslims, Christians and Jews worship the one and same god of A'vram, it would, and should stand to reason, that denouncing evil in one, would denounce the evil in all three faiths.

Fact is, do we really dignify the claim of those who use religion as an excuse to further their individual causes, thereby validating the very causes we decry, or should we use our rational abilities to call BS on these sort of ill-prepared propaganda?

Its silly, using the experience of one man who grew up in Lebanon (which 30 years ago was a violent warzone) as a template for the experience of all muslims.

Anyone who thinks that is reasonable is being both delusional and dishonest.

As a public service announcement. I would encourage all my fellow forum mates to tread lightly, especially when the subject of Muslims is being talked about. As you all know we have a new head mod.

People are being drug from their beds and locked up in the middle of the night, with no explanation.

Until we get a feel for the new leadership, I suggest a soft hand.

I don't think they are going to be as tolerant as the old.

I already said it in another thread. In order for terrorists to recruit they must convince their potential candidates that 1/they are acting in the name of god and 2/their cause is just.

When one validates that they are indeed acting in the name of god, as some here do, they've already succeeded in getting one past #1.
