I just checked the USCIS website and my EAD has jumped to "My card was ordered to be produced" and AP has been approved! Woohoo I'm so happy!!

If they catch you working for cash without your EAD or Green card your AOS will be denied and you can even get deported! We are still not 100% admitted in this country until our green card is aprove

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone... This thread had been our witness to our stress, anger, light moments, hopes and triumphs.

I have so many reasons to thank this Thanksgiving.. My spouse who sponsored me to finalky come to America, the blessings, the challenges I endured and will endure as it helps shape me as a person. And to all my friends who understood and always willing to listen.

Thank you all. We all just started out journeys in the new world let is never give up when things go down as life is like a wheel.. Sometimes up and sometimes down.

Thanks for clarifying that! I've been wondering if i'm suppose to get another update since the " my card has been mailed " or if it's just gonna show up in my mailbox.. I don't think they've been giving tracking numbers since the new site update so I think it's the latter.

Just got my EAD tracking number from USCIS...if you have questions about your cases its good to call today since they are all avail no call waiting for TIER 2 agent.

Did you get your tracking number by text/email or was your status updated on the USCIS website? My EAD was mailed on Wednesday but I haven't got any tracking number so far

N-400:

08/22/2020: filed online/NOA1

09/04/2020: biometric reuse notice
07/07/2021: interview scheduled

08/11/2021: interview —> approved/oath scheduled 

08/26/2021: oath ceremony 🇺🇸

 

Passport:

09/08/2021: application mailed (routine service)

09/14/2021: application received (locator #74)

10/23/2021: passport book received

10/29/2021: naturalization certificate received

I called the TIER 2 this morning... I'm on my way to post office to pick up my EAD...

My status for the I485 just jumped to "ready to be scheduled for interview".. What does that mean?

How fast after this status change did you guys get the actual interview appointment notice?

It took 8 days for the status to change from "Testing & Interview" to "Interview Scheduled". Processing times are really all over the place though. Could be a couple weeks, could me a couple months. Hopefully it's quick for you!

I couldn't agree more!! The processing times on the USCIS website are zero help.. My local office (Philly) hasn't updated their timeline in months. I figured I'd be waiting FOREVER to be scheduled. This whole process def tests your patience, that's for sure! lol

I just received my AP/EAD so I don't care toooo much about the greencard. It would just be nice to know some estimates. The K1 already made me go crazy,waiting for EAD was nerve wracking cause we need a second income..i really want this wait to be over..until it's time for ROC...URGH!!!
