I just checked the USCIS website and my EAD has jumped to "My card was ordered to be produced" and AP has been approved! Woohoo I'm so happy!!

If they catch you working for cash without your EAD or Green card your AOS will be denied and you can even get deported! We are still not 100% admitted in this country until our green card is aprove

We just got the EAD/AP card in the mail today! It was sent by priority mail.

For reference, they said they mailed it on Nov 24. So only 2 days to receive!!! So excited!!

It's great for us worriers out there that a thread like this exists! We sent in my husband's AOS package on September 17 and received the NOA1 on September 24. After that we didn't hear anything until October 30, when my husband decided to call USCIS because he had yet to receive a biometrics appointment letter! A service request was initiated and we received a biometrics appointment letter a couple days later. A couple days after that, well, another letter came from the center that processes biometrics in Portland. It stated that we had missed our original appointment on October 15 and that, as a courtesy to us, they had rescheduled it for November 17! We didn't receive anything in the mail, so the letter must have been lost or misplaced by USPS. Thank goodness we called when we did, otherwise I don't know what would have happened with our case. We didn't hear anything until today when my husband's case status had been updated to "Card Was Ordered To Be Produced". However, his AOS application status is still suck at "Fingerprint Fee Was Received". Does anyone else have their case status stuck there? I know some people have already had their interviews scheduled, though we're still hanging on to the vain hope that my husband's green card will be approved without interview. We'll just have to continue waiting!

Woot!! Congrats!! I haven't gotten email or text notification since I got the "acceptance texts" when I just filed. Did you get a tracking # ? My status updated to card was mailed too but no tracking # provided so far

Thanks! Congrats on your GC mailed!! :) Same for me I got the acceptance texts and emails and nothing since then. I don't have my tracking # yet. I'm thinking that we'll get our tracking # tomorrow hopefully!

Hey welcome to the group!!! What a mess with the biometrcis good it was fixed easily.

My AOS is still same way you mention until they start looking for appointment date it won't change. Nothing to worry about. I think it's better to do the interview than getting the waiver!

Interview waiver people wait sometimes a year!!!!! ( 6 months in a minimum sure ) that means also ROC is later......

I know the interview makes us all nervous but they won't ask anything you don't know about yourself :)
