I just checked the USCIS website and my EAD has jumped to "My card was ordered to be produced" and AP has been approved! Woohoo I'm so happy!!

If they catch you working for cash without your EAD or Green card your AOS will be denied and you can even get deported! We are still not 100% admitted in this country until our green card is aprove

I also received my biometrics appointment notice today! Date is 09/30 but I'm thinking of doing an early walk in :dancing:

Hey! I feel the same way as you do! In France I used to work full time Monday to Saturday and was pretty busy. And I like being busy! So I'm kinda going crazy sometimes here having not much to do! I don't have any friends yet. So usually I just spend time with my husband in the morning (he starts work at 2 pm) and then I Skype or talk on Facebook to my family or/and friends in France. I also clean, do laundry, cook, go to the grocery store, watch TV... And sometimes I go for a run/walk (but it's been really hot so hard to go during the day!). I can't wait to be able to work and to find some friends!

Lol .. Im just anxious to work as well and to be busy again .. Congrats on your biometrics though !! :dancing:

9/5/14- Received texts with receipt numbers, Online status updated for all four cases to " Acceptance" & " Initial review "

9/9/14- NOA1 hard copies received in mail

9/12/14- Biometrics letter recieved ( Date set for 9/22/14 )

9/15/14- Biometrics completed

9/16/14- Submitted EAD Expedite through congressman

9/24/14- Case moved to " Testing and interview "

9/26/14- EAD and AP Approved

10/2/14- EAD Mailed

10/3/14- EAD 'Delivered'.. but never recieved :ranting:

10/16/14- Interview date received for 11/19 - My birthday! :D

11/19/14- Interview day- Approved- PR status registered & Welcome letter mailed

Sent AOS 30th of August and it was delivered September 2nd now just waiting!!! 60 days for AOS documents and 60 days for the civil documents from the time they receive it. Interview will be late February to early March 2015.

Can I request NVC to transfer my case to my country of birth? Will it results in a further delay? How do I go about it?

Hi I sent our AOS Package on Friday 9/19/2014 ... Still hasn't reached USCIS yet but I can't wait already for the whole process to be over with :/

9/19/2014: AOS Package (i130, i485, i765 and i131) sent to Chicago lockbox using USPS Certified mail

12/3/2014: EAD and Advanced Parole in Production :dancing:

12/12/2014: EAD/AP Card received

1/23/2015: Interview is Scheduled for February 27!

1/28/2015: Interview Letter Received

3/10/2015: Greencard Received

 

12/3/2016: Filed i751 at California Service Center

 

12/4/2016: Filed N400 - Dallas TX

 

2/18/2018: i751 Case transferred to Local Office

2/26/2018: i751 Case received at Local Office

1/5/2018: i751 Case Transferred And New Office Has Jurisdiction

3/5/2018: Another update saying i751 Case Transferred And New Office Has Jurisdiction

5/7/2018: Received Letter stating i751 Case transferred to National Benefits Center, Lee's Summit, MO 64064

5/30/2018: Interview scheduled for N400

7/11/2018: Attended interview and was informed it will be a combo N400/I751 interview

8/6/2018: N400 Approved

8/7/2018: I751 Approved

9/5/2018: Oath Ceremony missed due to travel abroad and letter sent to USCIS to reschedule ceremony

10/2/2018: Officially a US Citizen!

Hopefully it'll be touched next week.

I plan to apply for driver license once we get the NOA1 in hands. Anybody has any idea about getting driver license with NOA1?

11/06/2014 - "Testing and Interview" on I-485 (50)

11/14/2014 - Get the notification stating that our interview has been scheduled (58) on December 18th (92)

11/19/2014 - I-131 status moved to "Advance Parole Document Was Produced"

....

12/18/2014 - Interview (Day 92) , APPROVED ON SPOT

12/19/2014 - Emails and Texts saying I-130 has been approved and I-485 new card is being produced

12/29/2014 - Card was mailed

12/29/2014 - Card was Delivered. Best HAPPY NEW YEAR gift/greet ever!!!

Hi! Hope you have a smooth process! About applying for a driver license with NOA1, you have to check with the DMV cause every state is different. Some might accept the NOA1 but some will want you to have an EAD to apply.

Hi everybody!!!! Congrats on you all news!!!! Things get more exciting!

We went to the beach for 4 days and I wasn't able to post.

while we were there we got our texts messages and emails day 18 at almost midnight with case numbers :) next day 19 the cashed the checks, now waiting for the letters.

K-1 Visa

Oct 1st, 2013 – Mailed in I-129F Package to Dallas Lockbox.

Oct 4th, 2013 – Package Delivered.

Oct 9th, 2013 - NOA1 Text and Email

Oct 15th, 2013 - NOA1 Hardcopy received in mail. Notice date on hardcopy says October 8th.

Nov 13th, 2013 - NOA2 - update on USCIS website

Dec 9th, 2013 - Petition received at NVC

Dec 11th, 2013 - Petition sent to Manila

Dec 19th, 2013 - Embassy receives petition

Dec 29th-Jan 8th-Our first New Year's together.

Feb 23rd- Fly to Manila to be with Ema for the interview.

Feb 27th, 2014 - Interview scheduled. We were APPROVED dancin5hr.gif

Feb 28th, 2014 - Ema does CFO- Passes with flying colors.

Mar 6th, 2014 - Visa in hand and ready to fly home.

Mar 14th, 2014 - POE Los Angeles

Apr 17th, 2014 - Our Wedding date. (L)

Sept 5th, 2014 - Mail package to Chicago

Sept 9th - Package Delivered

Sept 11th - NOA1 Texts and Emails.

Sept 17th - NOA1 Hardcopys received.

Sept 20th - Biometrics appointment letter received. Appointment for Oct 2nd.

Oct 2nd - Biometrics Done!

Nov 15th - EAD & AP approved and on the way!

No interview or interview wavier notice received

Jun 30th, 2015- Received welcome notice and approval.
