Congrats everybody!!!!!!

What a weird hour to send the texts!!! :) I thought it would only be office time, well I guess it makes things more exciting :) this is good news, I hope you can add it soon!

I think it is because it is an automated system that sends out the messages. Probably hundreds or thousands are sent...

I just realized, the Nashville Application Support Center we'll have to go to for my husband's biometrics when it comes in, is literally in the same complex as the Nashville main branch of where I work. I was there like a week ago for training, and drove right by the USCIS place as you have to circle around back to get to the office. At least when the letters come I'll know exactly where I'm going.

I-129F sent 11-27-13

NOA 1 email 12-5-13

NOA 1 Hardcopy received 12-13-13

Alien Reg Number Assigned 12-17-13

NOA 2 text/email 4-23-14

Sent to NVC 5-6-14 Received 5-14-14

Left NVC 5-19-14 Arrived in Sydney 5-23-14

Interview Email received 5/27/14

Interview 6/24/14

Wedding 8/2/14!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
AOS packet delivered 9/11/14
NOA1 texts 9/17/14
Biometrics appt: 10/6/14. We had 2 appts on dif days, but got both done at once and was in and out in 30min at the Nashville location.
EAD Notice: 11/25
EAD Received with wrong b-day 12/4 Contacted on Dec 13th to send it back and they will determine the next step about reissuing it.
EAD fixed by going to an infopass appt. The woman was able to fix it in the system and said don't waste the $ on a new EAD.
Potential Interview Waiver Received 3/2/15
Green Card in hand 7/29/15!!!
Hey everyone.. I felt like of all places to ask this question it would be best to ask it here, seeing we are all going through the same nerve wrecking process lol. How do you all pass the time while waiting ? ( Apart from constantly checking application statuses on USCIS' website lol ) Im usually one to keep myself very occupied with a bunch of stuff but sometimes I really feel like I dont know what to do with myself and find myself going a bit stir crazy! :huh::wacko:
They received ours Sept 4th and we got a notice of receipt right away.
Now is there any way to check the status over the next few months?
You can check the status of your application on the USCIS website. You just need the case numbers assigned to you in the text/mail/letter they sent you upon receipt!
Hey! I feel the same way as you do! In France I used to work full time Monday to Saturday and was pretty busy. And I like being busy! So I'm kinda going crazy sometimes here having not much to do! I don't have any friends yet. So usually I just spend time with my husband in the morning (he starts work at 2 pm) and then I Skype or talk on Facebook to my family or/and friends in France. I also clean, do laundry, cook, go to the grocery store, watch TV... And sometimes I go for a run/walk (but it's been really hot so hard to go during the day!). I can't wait to be able to work and to find some friends!
