Just visited at Charleston SC office regarding my case and had to bring all the documents including a document from my moms doctor in the Philippines.

Currently this office is backlog and has been July 2014 filers... So that means I have to wait for next year for my case to be adjudicated.

Well if Charleston these delays how much more on other offices bigger than ours...

Well that ends the saga of waiting for me... It's about time to continue working on the shadow.

I just checked the USCIS website and my EAD has jumped to "My card was ordered to be produced" and AP has been approved! Woohoo I'm so happy!!

If they catch you working for cash without your EAD or Green card your AOS will be denied and you can even get deported! We are still not 100% admitted in this country until our green card is aprove

I gave up the idea of starting work this year but still hoping that I will get the EAD before the holidays so I can change my name on my SSC and get my CA driver license.

I have so many things to do once I get my EAD and now I have all the time in the world but no EAD. It's so frustrating! I feel like they should rly try harder to speed up this process

We are thinking the same! Holiday is coming and I don't think I will be able to get a job this year. The AED is dragging us down. We can't even drive .

Thank you for the good news! Happy to hear that atleast you now got a date. I still haven't recieve Any email or hard copy from the mail. But I'm not loosing hope :) keep the faith

There is so much to do!!!! But EAD is the key for everything, seems like the timeline here in visa journey is working well.. Seeing the filling date of the last people who got their EAD approved and timeline says USCIS is processing September 3 EAD.... Makes me have hope on having some news in a couple weeks

09/15/2014: NOA1 texts/emails (x3) - Check cashed

09/19/2014: NOA1 hardcopies (x3) received

09/29/2014: Biometrics appointment notice received

Also AP has been approved. Now we can go to the Philippines for Christmas or maybe the Bahamas :)

K-1 Visa

Oct 1st, 2013 – Mailed in I-129F Package to Dallas Lockbox.

Oct 4th, 2013 – Package Delivered.

Oct 9th, 2013 - NOA1 Text and Email

Oct 15th, 2013 - NOA1 Hardcopy received in mail. Notice date on hardcopy says October 8th.

Nov 13th, 2013 - NOA2 - update on USCIS website

Dec 9th, 2013 - Petition received at NVC

Ai goodluck.. Even if they give me that card on Monday to which it's very impossible...the plane tickets are already quite expensive to go home. We already cancelled our trip to Bahamas because of these delays.

So I'm currently in Boston for school and my EAD arrived at my address at Chicago. Can my husband apply for SSN on my behalf?
