Hey guys im getting ready to travel with my husband pretty soon what documents should i take with ap??

This is from the USICS website

What documents do I need to present to reenter the United States?

If seeking to enter the United States after temporary travel abroad, you will need to present a valid, unexpired green card (Form I-551, Permanent Resident Card). When arriving at a port of entry, a U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officer will review your permanent resident card and any other identity documents you present, such as a passport, foreign national I.D. card or U.S. Drivers License, and determine if you can enter the United States. For information pertaining to entry into the United States, see U.S. Customs and Border Protections webpage.

Here are the docs I carried. I carried both the paper document & combo card as I received both of them from USCIS.

They didn't check any docs except for the AP I-512 Document (paper Document). However they asked if I was paying taxes.

1) EAD/AP Combo Card

2) I-512 AP Document issued by USCIS

3) I-797 Receipt Notice of my I-485

4) Old H1B I-797 Petition Copies

5) Employment Offer Letter

6) Employer Letter of Support that was filed as part of I-485 documents

7) Driver's License

8) Last 2 pay stubs

Nice!!! So that means when they do they approve both at the same time, since they have to print it together... My timeline says different possible times for each.. I guess I can't trust it too much.

If you applied for both then there's a chance you will get the combo card EAD/AP in one card. I've read that some got the EAD card and the AP comes in a letter.

My husband applied for his AOS on Sept 11 and on Nov 6 the online status changed to "ready to be scheduled for an interview" and it says we should receive the interview notice in the mail by Dec 6. Wow!!! Isn't that moving kind of fast? I guess it shouldn't be long now, right?

Just a reminder to everyone, as you get significant updates to your case, such as approvals or receipt of EAD/AP/GC, please update your timelines with that information. More data means more accurate estimates on processing times.

Not trying to be a Debbie Downer but mine has been "ready to be scheduled for an interview" since 10/8/14 and the website says that I should have received an interview notice by 11/7/14 if not to contact them to get the notice re-sent. Well, I contacted them on 11/10/14 to let them know that I never received anything but the lady on the phone told me that their system doesn't show that I have even been scheduled at all! So basically told me that the date is probably a fluke due to their new system... sigh...

For information pertaining to entry into the United. States, see U.S. Customs and Border Protections webpage.

Thank you soo much ?
