Hello everyone,, just wanna share my blessings today... Checked my USCIS status & EAD/AP ordered card production... yehey so happy!!! hope to have it in hand next week.. God is really good :dancing::dancing: Next is job hunting.... :)

09/04/2020: biometric reuse notice
07/07/2021: interview scheduled

08/11/2021: interview —> approved/oath scheduled 

08/26/2021: oath ceremony 🇺🇸

 

Passport:

09/08/2021: application mailed (routine service)

09/14/2021: application received (locator #74)

10/23/2021: passport book received

10/29/2021: naturalization certificate received

I just checked the USCIS website and my EAD has jumped to "My card was ordered to be produced" and AP has been approved! Woohoo I'm so happy!!

If they catch you working for cash without your EAD or Green card your AOS will be denied and you can even get deported! We are still not 100% admitted in this country until our green card is aprove

Never mind media, if media predicted everything in this world we would be dead by now...The same reason the illegal person wants to adjust to US is the same reason the legal person wants to adjust his/her status. USA country is the land of the free, belongs to the Indians so everyone should be allowed to live ideally. Almost everyone migrated here for a reason. Let us wish them the very best too. RFE is currently making cases late by 2 months that is 60 days. They should tell you on the website when they will give a response. Hope things will get better for you soon, it can get tough depending on 1 income.

Well I have my own from the business I have in the Philippines... But just irritating how this process goes... It should have been simplified. Now I understand why my friends told me to think a million times before deciding to update my status. It's already too late to regret. I just want to go home in manila I didn't need the eAD anymore instead I need my AP...

Wow. Congratulatuons. Finally we have some good news this week. So happy for you. Hope the rest of us gets our EAD too.

Maybe this is a good sign that others will get their approvals soon too. For reference, our NOA1 date was September 8.

Hey guys im getting ready to travel with my husband pretty soon what documents should i take with ap??

I would take copy of marriage certificate too, copy of NOAs maybe???

What exactly is AP a paper or a card???

- 9/15/14 : USCIS received my I-130, I-485, & I-765 applications at the Chicago lockbox. [day 1] NOA txts rec'd 2 days later.
- 9/20/14 : Received 3 NOA receipts in mail saying case was being processed at the NBC [day 5]
- 9/26/14 : Received biometrics appt letter in the mail; appt. set for 10/6/14 at the Nashville office. [day 11]
- 9/30/14 : Successful early walk-in for my biometrics [day 15]
- 11/24/14 : Received email/txt notification that my EAD card is being produced [day 70] :)
- 12/2/14 : Received EAD card [day 78] :thumbs:
- 12/27/14 : Received interview letter in mail :content: [day 103] (Rec'd txt update on 12/29/14)
- 1/28/15 : Interview date! ​(Went w/a lawyer) We were given an approval letter!! :dancing: [day 135]
- 2/2/15 : Received 2 texts:I-485 (Welcome Notice mailed) I-130 (Petition Approved) **SOOO Happppy!!** :D:content::D

What exactly is AP a paper or a card???

Ap is advance parole. It can be issued on paper for TPS holders (Temp. Protected Status) or if you file to adjust status, it comes as a combo card - EAD/AP. So u can use it to travel whenever when you have a combo card I believe.. while you're waiting on your green card.

ok, i was wondering how it looks like, I knew EAD was a card ( I've seen pictures in the gallery here ) but I didn't know it was a combo card with AP :) thanks!
