Hey guys! This forum has been a great support for me the last couple of weeks!

Filed AOS last week (Chicago) on a VWP stay.... anxiously awaiting the first receipts and confirmations. I like worrying about things like this :secret:

I just checked the USCIS website and my EAD has jumped to "My card was ordered to be produced" and AP has been approved! Woohoo I'm so happy!!

If they catch you working for cash without your EAD or Green card your AOS will be denied and you can even get deported! We are still not 100% admitted in this country until our green card is aprove

We filled last week too ( Friday 12 ) and I came with VWP too, my 89 days expired already. It's nice to see there is more people in the same situation, I think I wouldn't be so worried if I came with K-1 like the majority :)

Hey Iris! I will definitely keep posting. My VWP expires tomorrow. So yes, slightly worried! Excited and happy too, though! And that wins out in the end =D

Finally got AOS sent off last week, got 3 emails with 3 receipt numbers.

It's been a tough time this year but glad we're on the way again.

Congratulations to everyone else.

We just got our text spam. Its not showing up to let me add the numbers to my case portfolio, but maybe that's because it's only been an hr.

NOA 1 email 12-5-13

NOA 1 Hardcopy received 12-13-13

Alien Reg Number Assigned 12-17-13

NOA 2 text/email 4-23-14

Sent to NVC 5-6-14 Received 5-14-14

Left NVC 5-19-14 Arrived in Sydney 5-23-14

Interview Email received 5/27/14

Interview 6/24/14

Wedding 8/2/14!!!

NOA1 texts 9/17/14

Biometrics appt: 10/6/14. We had 2 appts on dif days, but got both done at once and was in and out in 30min at the Nashville location.

EAD Notice: 11/25

EAD Received with wrong b-day 12/4 Contacted on Dec 13th to send it back and they will determine the next step about reissuing it.

EAD fixed by going to an infopass appt. The woman was able to fix it in the system and said don't waste the $ on a new EAD.

Potential Interview Waiver Received 3/2/15

Green Card in hand 7/29/15!!!

I know right! We got the texts around 12:30am on a Sunday night. For sure we were not expecting to hear anything until Monday during the office hours, certainly not the middle of the night on a weekend!

I got the biometric appointment letter today and it's scheduled on Oct 1, but we will try to go there next Monday and see if they can do an earlier than my schedule..
