Yeah try to check with everify.... What state are you in? You can also try Self Everify but it's only available on 4 states I guess.

Your employer can ran an everify it will only take 5 minutes.. But that depends if your employer has an employee who is trained to conduct the everify check.

When I had that Everify check last May it only took 5 minutes and I knew I was legal to work.

I tried self check but it told me I was unable to proceed. Did they ask you for any other documents after e-verify check ? And did your company conduct the check or was it you who self verified and showed it to the company ? I'm in Florida

Well with all of these delays, stress, frustrations..my partner gave me the best and surprise gift ever..

My bumblebee Camaro 2014 in the parking...my partner had to ask me if I can go to priental market and buy some veggies...he can't drive because his not feeling well so I drive not knowing it was just a ploy...

So when I came back...my neighbor and our friend is in the front porch and just greeted me happy birthday although belated... And partner give me the key... I really cried never imagine that il have this car I've been dreaming for this and it's for real...

Although can't drive yet due to drivers license and EAD but at least I have the car now not in my name yet but as soon as I have my GC it will be transferred in my name.

That's so sweet!!!!!! and happy birthday!

I'm about to text my husband with an update of what's going on in September AOS maybe it will give him some ideas for Christmas hahaah

Hahaha... Well my partner knew me from head to foot and he knows that I don't like wasting my time and if I had a way I will always try.

One time I recall I told him that selling sandwiches and food while waiting for EAD can buy me my dream car the bumblebee... Then he answered OKAY ... Lols

So I just got some interesting information from USCIS regarding my missing EAD. A tier 2 rep called me regarding my service request and they said as of today they don't see where it was sent back to them or anything and its been more than 30 days so i'm just guessing its lost somewhere. The rep even told me over the phone that she believes somethings going on because so many peoples cards are turning up missing. She did say though that if my employer uses e-verify that It will show that i'm authorized to work until september of next year even though I don't have the physical card. So I will see if my prospective employer ( who has been holding a position for me since october ) would be willing to have me start with that

I don't know if your situation is comparable to mine though, you came here on K1 so I think yours is a different situation

Well since you were issued a employment card but not received it... Can you request a replacement or maybe a stamped in your passport... Just not sure really

I could re submit with a fee waiver but they don't issue stamps for the EAD unfortunately. Im just gonna wait and see if I can get a GC stamp on my interview day if all goes well or just wait for my GC cause the interview is only about 12 days away Edited November 7, 2014 by lala1

I got my roommate a job there so most of the time we can carpool. If not I can just take the bus. When I get my GC then I'll apply for drivers license

Hi lala1,you can also get affidavit from friends and family proving your relationship. Hope all goes well at your interview. Just think positive. GOD BLESS

Did you take NCLEX-RN whilw you were in the Philippines. I am planning to take NCLEX-RN next year. What reviewer did you use?

I did took my NCLEX here in California few years ago and I used KAPLAN reviewer for international nurses. Good luck and you'll do great, just focus.

So It looks like we have new uscis website! I've trying to check my case for the past hour and it wouldn't work, I just can't go to sleep without checking my case lol, so I obviouly stayed awake watching a tv show while refreshing the site every 10 minutes.

Finally doesn't show more problems and for my surprise it looks totally different

I actually miss the old system..... The new website with you look at your case it doesn't show those circles anymore, and the thing I like the least is before I would write the case only once and change the last number, now you have to out all it every time.
