Sent my AOS packet Friday 9/12/14 expected to arrive tomorrow! Happy to find others in this situation :)

We sent our AOS package Friday 12 by USPS and the tracking number says it will get in Chicago tomorrow!!!

So hopefully everything will be ok and we get some news soon!

It's so exiting to know about other people around the same date

Hope everything goes well for you! :) I see that you don't live too far from me!

We received texts last night after midnight that our case was accepted and we got our receipt numbers.

I just checked the USCIS website and my EAD has jumped to "My card was ordered to be produced" and AP has been approved! Woohoo I'm so happy!!

If they catch you working for cash without your EAD or Green card your AOS will be denied and you can even get deported! We are still not 100% admitted in this country until our green card is aprove

My husband has to get out get country in October so I'm afraid they will give me a date for the days I don't have a car

No I just went and did it. They didn't ask for any explanations or anything. In and out within 5 minutes. Each office differs though, there are some offices that don't allow early biometrics. Just try going on a day before your husband leaves and see what happens

No problem. When you get the biometrics letter there is an option on the letter to reschedule as well. :)

No problem. When you get the biometrics letter there is an option on the letter to reschedule as well. :)

I was just looking on the forum about walk in biometrics in Atlanta and it seems like good news, lots of people have done it and if sometimes there is too much people they make you wait in a side until the line is clear so still good :)

If not we can always reschedule but I would hate waiting until November ( when my husband is back )

:) I think now starts my obsession of checking my email and telling my husband to check his every 10 minutes hahaha

Yeah I recieved my noa1s friday the hardcopies and like september 8th the noa1s through email
