Hi guys :) good news :) my employment authorization card is in production :) my case status says "On October 3, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you" so now it says 30days but anybody knows how much time does it exactly take to reach to my address???

But what about my permission to travel? I applied for both at the same time that application is "Post Decision activity" while EAD is in "Card Production"

You went to Biometrics on 9/29 and then received notice on Oct 3? And you are in Phoenix? That is great news as I am in Phoenix as well and we had the biometrics on Oct 1, so maybe we are only a few days from getting notice. Keeping our fingers crossed! :clock:

I just checked the USCIS website and my EAD has jumped to "My card was ordered to be produced" and AP has been approved! Woohoo I'm so happy!!

If they catch you working for cash without your EAD or Green card your AOS will be denied and you can even get deported! We are still not 100% admitted in this country until our green card is aprove

Awesome to hear good news!!!!!!!!!!! I think they always say 30 days same with the GC and some people get it in a week others in 2.....

I don't know about AP....... Maybe someone else can help with that question :)

yup i'll be keep on checking my mail box :) but as per other VJ members I think I am going to receive another update that my card has been produced and then one more update saying that card has been sent to the address and will have a tracking number :) can't wait to receive it in mail box :) My driving license is also waiting for this card :)

You will likely get the combo EAD/AP card.

Yes I think so too because both of these status are changed today but the difference is that AP is in Post Decision activity while EAD is in Production :)

Yes Its almost same but I am in California but I sent it to Arizona :) but the check was cashed in Chicago :P was very confused in the beginning :P

Mine said the same thing at first.. You should still receive your AP with your EAD as a combo card.. Congrats!

I got a RFE (I-485), I wonder what it is? hm clueless, I meet and pass the poverty guidelines of I-864 my wife's taxes for 3 consecutive years was above 20 grand, I followed the step-by-step guideline for AOS concurrent filing... I hope that it's just a simple RFE...

Sorry to hear it!!! could be something as simple as a signature/date is missing or question skipped by mistake... I hope you get the letter soon I'm sure it has been a stresfull weekend thinking what it can be. Good luck!

We can always hope...I've been going loopy not working. And California is ridiculous with drivers licenses. I'm pretty sure I can get one after I get the ead/ap...if I have to wait for the green card I'll scream.

Oh well. I kind of expected the ap/ead to take 3-4 months so any less than that is a blessing...it is government though. It'll take as long as it takes.

October 10, 2013 - NVC has our case, Vancouver number assigned

***Communications with Vancouver begging to put my case on hold a while due to house not selling!!!***

February 18, 2014 - Packet 3 Submitted

February 20, 2014 - Packet 4!!

May 5, 2014 - Medical

May 7, 2014 - Consulate Interview

May 13, 2014 - K1 visa in hand!!!

July 2, 2014 - POE (Sweetgrass)<p>

July 23, 2014 - apply for EI (mother of god that was confusing...)<p>

August 11, 2014 - finally get hitched!

September 16, 2014 - send off AOS/AP/EAD
