Hello guys,

I'm new here. I already read some stories.

My lawyer field for me on July 26,2014 June. I got a RFE for sending more copies of the tax return from my husband. Uscis received everything on Aug. 8, 2014. They sent my papers to NSC but I'm located in Los Angeles. The case switched to RFE review right away but since nothing change. I called uscis today but the lady told me that I'm still in the processing time.

I just want to share my store and was wondering if anybody got an upgrade.

I already had my bio. Appointment in Los Angeles. It was on August 13,2014.

I'm just nervous about my case that something is wrong with it.

But after seeing that so many cases are still under review I came a little down.

Hi! I'm sure there is nothing wrong with your case. It's just taking a while but hopefully you'll hear from them soon! I got a RFE too but I haven't send it back yet. Just hang in there :) Good luck!!

Sent my AOS last September 26 (Friday). Checked USPS tracking and it says "Available for Pickup"

Welcome! Hope you have a smooth and quick process! ;)

I just walked in. Have you tried checking the part of the forum about local offices to see if people have had good experience with early walk in at your local office? I don't think you can call to change one of the date. But hopefully your local office accepts walk ins! :)

Hi all! I just made it to this group of September AOS filers!!! Sent in my AOS application today, it will arrive there by tomorrow 12 pm. Love the US postal service! So efficient!

Just have one concern that I sent a scanned copy of the marriage certificate instead of the certified copy. Did that work for anybody?

Looking forward to hearing from them next week about the receipt of my application!

His!

This morning we went to the office for the biometrics in Atlanta ( early walk in, appointment was for October 7 )

We were there at 9am and there was like 4 people only. The security man at the door was very very nice asked for my letter and documentation, my husband said we came for a walk in and he said it was totally fine there wasn't almost people today.

I had to write a paper where you put your name...other names you have used.... Weight, race, hair, eyes color....

Then you wait with your paper and letter in hand, they give you a number and you wait again until they call you. I recommend if you want to do an early walk in to go early because while I was there waiting TONS of people came they would even make them wait outside and let them inside in little groups.

The woman asked me why my last name was different in the form from my name in my passport and I said because I changed it when I got married so I'm using my new last name for all the forms and she said ok ok. ( I got a bit worried thinking there was a problem )

She took took finger prints of each finger, picture and ready to go!

Everybody was very nice and friendly.

So now waiting for EAD and AP I guess! :)
