So whats the normal time for them to cash the checks and email you ? We sent ours last week and it was received in Chicago at 11am last Friday 9/19 but the checks haven't cleared yet nor have we gotten an email or text. HAHA, when do I start panicing ?

I just checked the USCIS website and my EAD has jumped to "My card was ordered to be produced" and AP has been approved! Woohoo I'm so happy!!

If they catch you working for cash without your EAD or Green card your AOS will be denied and you can even get deported! We are still not 100% admitted in this country until our green card is aprove

Hey! Don't start panicking yet :) It can take up to 30 days to get NOA1 but usually it doesn't take as long. I got my emails/texts 8 days after my AOS packet was delivered (same for the check to be cashed). You should hear from them pretty soon! ;)

I was worried about the same exact thing!! I even searched in the forum but found nothing related.... My EAD, AP and my husband's petition are on the second dot/circle, and my 485 still on the first one..... I was wondering if I had a RFE or something was wrong, so I keep checking very often to see of something's changes.

Is everybody else's like that????

Yep. Mine was like that as well. Nothing to worry about

I am so overjoyed right now..My work permit was approved this morning !! I did put in an expedite last tuesday through my congressman, Never said anything because I wasnt sure what would happen and didnt want to jinx myself but it worked!! Today my status jumped to card document/production!!! SO Happy!! :D:dance:

6/20/14- Married

8/29/14- Sent AOS Package

they also received my packet last 19th i checked in the bank if theyve encash the check last wed, they did not encashed it yet..

02-03-15 - SSN received in the mail / received letter from USCIS that i need to complete I-693 vaccination worksheet form

02-10-15 - submitted form I-693

02-12-15 - Card in production (thank God!)

Haha not yet!!!! You may even get the texts during the weekend so give it a little bit of time :) I think it could take even 30 days! But I'm sure it won't. any moment you will receive your emails and texts messages with your case numbers :) they usually send it at night!

They cashed my checks next day after sending the NOA text messages some people Ive read they do it the same day....

Just opened the mail and the biometrics letter was there!!!! I can't believe how fast everything is going. The appointment is for October 7 but we are going to do an early walk-in Monday!!! :) :) I'm so excited !!!
