It say I didn't meet the poverty guidelines..

Was it possible that there is a typo on the document? Maybe a comma that was entered as a period? Something like $140.000.00? You are definitely above the poverty guidelines. Maybe they lost/mis-placed the tax documents? This is a head scratcher....

I sent the original 1099 and 1040 form and it's very clear....worse case scenario was I didn't include them when I filed the document....because I have multiple copies of them. Anyway I sent it today via express mail today, also I got my biometrics early today and they let me complete the finger print a week early from my original schedule.

I have a friend who got his Green card few days ago, he filed his papers (k1) end of June , got interviewed Sept 16 and few days later, green card was delivered w/o RFE's....I hope all of us will have shorter process like his.

We tried to get our Biometrics done early at the North Houston USCIS office but we were told , NO! The lady that worked there was a total @#@%$! I tried to tell her that I am starting a new job on Monday and couldn't take off on the 2nd but she didn't care. My wife has no way to get there without me (it's pretty far from where we live) and she can't get her driving license either. I guess I will just have to take off that day.

That lady is really a total B#*%*! , I was lucky today and the people in USCIS Oakland CA are very friendly and helpful, the black guy in the reception desk is really funny and approachable, he let us talk to his boss to get an early finger print and the boss was too kind to accommodate us, luckily there's few people in line too that's why he said YES! I surely did the survey before leaving the service center and marked them as excellent !

I got my biometrics appointment today! Is dated October 8th but I might try and go early as I have an infant and rarely have anyone to watch him as we know no one here! Does anyone think it would be a problem to bring a baby to the biometrics appointment? I'm super happy about how fast everything has been!

Hey congrats on getting your biometrics appointment! I really don't think it would be a problem to bring your baby to your biometrics appointment. I went to get my biometrics yesterday and I saw people with kids so I wouldn't worry about that :)

She told us there where hundreds of people waiting but when I looked in the window I just saw around 10 or 15. I even tried going back in and asking if we could wait on stand by and she told us "we don't do that". She had a real bad attitude and was wearing a ton of makeup (in case anyone else here runs into her).

One weird thing though is we got our NOA's for all of his forms on September 11th and his biometrics letter but on the USCIS website still says it is in the acceptance stage for form I-485. Shouldn't it be in initial review considering it says the acceptance stage usually takes 2 days? His EAD and AP are both in initial review.

I was worried about the same exact thing!! I even searched in the forum but found nothing related.... My EAD, AP and my husband's petition are on the second dot/circle, and my 485 still on the first one..... I was wondering if I had a RFE or something was wrong, so I keep checking very often to see of something's changes.

Is everybody else's like that????

Ughhh sad there is people like that working there..... I've even read that if there is people waiting with appointments they make you wait on a side until the line is clear.... But oh well :( I'm sorry it had to happen to you two, I hope your husband can take the day out of work without any trouble for your appointment.

You are not alone. I'm in the exact same stage as yours. I filed my AOS the same day as you and my uscis status is the same as yours. I'm just as impatient because I already have a job offer that Im supposed to start this coming Monday. The company has sent me the I-9 form to complete before my start date but I cant complete it because I do not have a new alien registration number. Its so frustrating! Im going to have to deny the offer or ask the company to please keep my position until this whole process is completed.
