So I got my RFE from the mail and you guys won't believe this...it's about the affidavit of support, I didn't meet the pover guidelines that's what they said....really? Does the person who is processing my papers know what he/she is doing ? My husband earned $149,244 in 2013 , $111,416 in 2012 and we sent all his form 1040.....do you guys think it's not enough for a family of 4?

So we will call immigration first thing in the morning to know what is going on.....

Geez really?? That is way above poverty guidelines for a family of 4! What is going on with them? Yes you should call tomorrow to ask them to clarify that! What exactly does your RFE say? Did you send paystubs too as proof?

08/11/2021: interview —> approved/oath scheduled

I just checked the USCIS website and my EAD has jumped to "My card was ordered to be produced" and AP has been approved! Woohoo I'm so happy!!

If they catch you working for cash without your EAD or Green card your AOS will be denied and you can even get deported! We are still not 100% admitted in this country until our green card is aprove

No need for the pay stub because he own a business, but we will call tomorrow to clarify this.....or maybe I am so stupid that I forgot to enclosed the form 1040...anyway I got it now and will resend via express mail tomorrow.

Hey!! Welcome :) Happy to see someone else from Atlanta!! :thumbs: Hope you have a smooth AOS process!

No need for the pay stub because he own a business, but we will call tomorrow to clarify this.....or maybe I am so stupid that I forgot to enclosed the form 1040...anyway I got it now and will resend via express mail tomorrow.

Oh ok! Yes the best thing is to call so you'll know exactly what they need from you :) Good luck!

Holy cow yes!! And for more than 8 are your numbers.

They may have look at it wrong or some paper is missing.

Did you keep an exact copy of everything you sent????? What's wrong with them could be more specific

Did you keep an exact copy of everything you sent????? What's wrong with them could be more specific

They should be looking at the gross income right? Because it is outrageous to be getting RFE for this...anyway I am sending it again tomorrow with a thorough explanation! Good luck to me.

10/22: I485 was changed to Testing& Itvw

I765 Card Production. (Day 35)

10/23: I765 Card production(again). (Day 36)

10/29: Received EAD card. (Day 42)

Keep us updated on what happens with this. It doesn't seem that you should have received an RFE for this...

So my husband got his biometrics done today (Detroit Office)! His appointment was for the 30th which he couldn't make so he walked in early and they took him! Yay!:) One weird thing though is we got our NOA's for all of his forms on September 11th and his biometrics letter but on the USCIS website still says it is in the acceptance stage for form I-485. Shouldn't it be in initial review considering it says the acceptance stage usually takes 2 days? His EAD and AP are both in initial review.

01/12/15 - Received second email/text saying his EAD/AP card is being produced!

01/16/15 - Received email/text that EAD/AP card was mailed and was given tracking number

01/17/15 - EAD/AP card in hand!

01/29/15 - Received notification that our Interview has been scheduled for Mar. 3rd!

Nah.. mine was in acceptance till it changed to testing and interview

9/5/14- Received texts with receipt numbers, Online status updated for all four cases to " Acceptance" & " Initial review "

It say I didn't meet the poverty guidelines..
