Awwww sorry to hear that :( but it was awesome you could do the early biometrics!!!! So you got something good, But definitely sucks not knowing what the RFE is about until you get the letter. Could be a signature or something simple and fast to fix :) hopefully that's the case

Woke up this morning and checked my cases online as per usual, my case has jumped to testing and interview !! I am SOO happy, Hoping I get a notice with a date soon :D

Oh my gosh things are going so fast!!!!! Congrats I bet you are SOO happy :) :)

It's wednesday and still nothing :( last update on the tracking page says:

September 23, 2014 , 7:23 am

Departed USPS Facility

CHICAGO, IL 60607

I sent it out on Friday morning and expected delivery still says Monday 22 September :( I hoped USPS didn't lose my package

hmmmm weird..... wishing they forgot to update it to delivered and it's on someone's desk!!! You may just get texts and emails with your case number one day. I don't think USPS would lose an envelope.... But I understand you are worried I'm still worried about all kind of things going wrong.

I would look at the bank account to see if they cash the checks sometime by the end of this week.....even if it doesn't say delivered.

Yes it got me worried now! I can't wait to get the hardcopy in the mail. Hope it's something simple! But yes it's awesome for the biometrics! They didn't even ask me why I came early and I didn't have to wait till all the people that had an appointment at that time were finished. Don't bring anything but your ID and appointment notice though (my husband had to take my purse back to the car cause it wasn't allowed Inside).

I have the feeling I will get a RFE too... I was so stressed the past 2 months getting everything ready I had to print some papers even 3 times because I would have things wrong all the time, even my birthday date!! ####### hahahaha.

But it's good to know they let you do the biometrics, it's not like the whole process stops. :)

I texted my husband immediately when I saw your post here, we are excited and will totally do the same.

ID/ passport , letter and that's all??? ( any NOAs?) Do the make any questions or just picture finger prints and bye??

No need to bring NOA's cause the biometrics appointment notice has bar codes on it so they scan them. I brought my marriage certificate cause my passport is in my maiden name and I used my married name for AOS but they didn't even ask for it. No they don't ask any questions at all. When you get it, you just have to fill out a piece of paper (name, height, weight, hair and eye color, A number, etc) and then they give you a number and you have to wait till your number gets called. Then they take your fingerprints and picture and you're good to go!

I printed some forms several times too when I did my AOS package lol! But I checked so many times before sending it. It's frustrating lol!!!

Hope you get your biometrics appointment letter soon! :)

Awesome!!!! They just took a little longer to deliver it :)

So my orther was like shows in mi signature :

Sep- 12- 2014 - AOS sent to Chicago ( delivered sept 15 )

Sep - 18 - 2014 - AOS texts/ emails received with case number

Sep- 19 - 2014 - checks cashed

3 days after the package was delivered my husband got all the NOA texts messages and emails at night, and then next morning they cashed the check, and the hard copies of NOA just came home yesterday.

I think it's a bit random each person's case seems different :)

It could be anything, I just realized through looking at other posts that on question 15 in the I-130 form we put my husband's employment who in this case is the petitioner instead of me who is the beneficiary. I am not sure what will happen because we have the right information on the g 325a or whatever the forms were..i hope it is not a big deal...the question does not specify that unless you place the cursor on the question. I have stopped worrying about this process let come what may is my motto.

09/02/14 sent AOS

09/05/14 AOS received

09/21/14 NOA received

11/16/14 Biometrics done

10/07/14 RFE for Birth Certificate

11/03/14 RFE received by MSC

11/05/14 RFE in reviewing process

Yes that's a good motto lol! :) I'm going to try to stop worrying cause it won't change anything anyway! Hopefully it's an easy fix!

Yes it does suck! Didn't get RFE with my K-1 so I was hoping not to get any with AOS! I just hope it won't slow down the process. Hope you get your RFE soon and let us know what it is about! And good luck with the biometrics walk in tomorrow :)

So I got my RFE from the mail and you guys won't believe this...it's about the affidavit of support, I didn't meet the pover guidelines that's what they said....really? Does the person who is processing my papers know what he/she is doing ? My husband earned $149,244 in 2013 , $111,416 in 2012 and we sent all his form 1040.....do you guys think it's not enough for a family of 4?

So we will call immigration first thing in the morning to know what is going on.....
