Hey there, yes the officer told me I was approved that day. My attorney & I received an approval letter. I still haven't gotten any updates from Uscis though. I noticed some get approval emails/texts right away but that didn't happen.

This is to share my interview experience last January 29

Our interview was video tape recorded and we have two immigration officer in the room. One asking us questions and the other one observing. It feels like a panel interview. She asked me about my Name, birthday, date of arrival in the u.s., my mother's maiden name, address, zip code she also asked the same thing with my husband.

Here the questions she asked after reading the yes and no question in the i-485 form

1. Where did you meet your husband

2. How long have you dated before you decided to get married

3. Who propose, when?

4. When is your wedding?

5. Why no wedding ring? (my husband don't believe in this)

6.Did you know about his past marriages?

7. Is your marriage before and marrying a girl from the philippines any difference, why?

8. Does your kids go well together?

9. Any evidence that this relationship is legit? (kinda annoying question!) - I gave 100 pictures of us together, life insurance, healthe insurance, bank account, my military dependent id.

i was actually worried because my husband got retired last October 2014 but they didnt even ask about his income. I think him being in a military counts a lot.

If other VJ members has a nice experience having a friendly IO who interviewed them, mine is exactly the opposite. They don't even smile and the interview was a bit intense because they can be offending sometimes. Which is understandable because of the marriage frauds. Before she interviewed us, she went to a stokes interview and denied the application of the couple. The guy is black african and in his early 30's and the woman is in her late 50's. The woman get out of the room crying. Stokes interview is a separate interview of a couple which they think a fake marriage.

They just gave me a letter saying that they can't make a decision yet and will mail me if they needed something from me. She told me every IO is different and she is the one who dont make decision right after the interview.

But i am still postive.. keeping my fingers crossed

hope this helps

My immigration officer was not pleasant either, I have been married for about 5 years and one child with my husband. Sometimes you get a nice officer other times not so nice officers. Lets stay positive.

Good morning,

Yesterday my EAD/AP combo card arrived, and this morning I received the email/text for my scheduled interview on March 11. I'm pleasantly surprised, didn't think I would have my interview for another few months.
