Hi Amelia, your status change of I485 ready to be scheduled for an interview means you will get a second update later saying "On xx(month) xx(day), 2015 we scheduled you for an interview..... Your interview is on xx(month) xx(day), 2015." Just like the one Paul&Jesica got above. Now the second update could take a 3-10 days (best case scenario) or weeks/months. Various people have experienced such here on VJ.

You may still get an update on your EAD within the next couple of days/weeks so hang in there. For some people it comes within a few days of an I485 update, with uscis, you just never know ?

I just checked the USCIS website and my EAD has jumped to "My card was ordered to be produced" and AP has been approved! Woohoo I'm so happy!!

If they catch you working for cash without your EAD or Green card your AOS will be denied and you can even get deported! We are still not 100% admitted in this country until our green card is aprove

Congrats to all who had their interview scheduled. I'm on the interview waiver and had to wait 6 months for my GC.

This Month my medical will expire and had to redo it again I guess.

Just got the notice of potential interview waiver in the mail today. It's not really a surprise but I'm not thrilled about it because of the long wait :(

08/22/2020: filed online/NOA1

09/04/2020: biometric reuse notice
07/07/2021: interview scheduled

08/11/2021: interview —> approved/oath scheduled 

08/26/2021: oath ceremony 🇺🇸

 

Passport:

09/08/2021: application mailed (routine service)

09/14/2021: application received (locator #74)

10/23/2021: passport book received

10/29/2021: naturalization certificate received

When did you get yours? I've been following the notice of potential interview waiver thread and some people have been waiting even more than 6 months. Some have to redo their medical, really sucks!!!

N-400:

08/22/2020: filed online/NOA1

09/04/2020: biometric reuse notice
07/07/2021: interview scheduled

08/11/2021: interview —> approved/oath scheduled 

08/26/2021: oath ceremony 🇺🇸

 

Passport:

09/08/2021: application mailed (routine service)

09/14/2021: application received (locator #74)

10/23/2021: passport book received

10/29/2021: naturalization certificate received

Just got the notice of potential interview waiver in the mail today. It's not really a surprise but I'm not thrilled about it because of the long wait :(

I'm an August filer, but yesterday I got a notice of potential waiver dated December 30 too, and my local office is also Atlanta.

Why do you think you have to do your medical again? The medical has to be valid at the time when you apply for adjustment of status! Wether you receive an interview appointment or an interview waiver letter later doesn't matter!
