Guys! I got some good news! I checked my status today and I alreAdy have an interview date! JANUARY 21 2015 yay! That took the stress out of me! Yay! Just keep the faith guys! And sending everyone positive vibes! Happy holidays

I just checked the USCIS website and my EAD has jumped to "My card was ordered to be produced" and AP has been approved! Woohoo I'm so happy!!

If they catch you working for cash without your EAD or Green card your AOS will be denied and you can even get deported! We are still not 100% admitted in this country until our green card is aprove

The date on the letter is from December 16! It arrived really fast. My uscis status changed Monday 15 when I got all the emails from uscis, it says interview was scheduled and I will received a letter soon if don't get it before blah blah contact them

Wow New York City! They processed my social security and send it out in 2 days! Applied on Monday and already received my social security card woohoo :D

Malaysia would be your hub for further Asia travels! We have a budget carrier called "Air Asia". Flying to Bali (Indonesia) would cost you $50. To fly to Japan from Kuala Lumpur would be around $150. My husband is tired of Malaysia now, we fly home once a year and he thinks he had enough of it (hahaha). I assured him that next year will be different, I have Hong Kong and India in our schedule while we are there :idea:

Day 49 - Dec 27 2019 : Received email for scheduled interview

Day 55 - Jan 02 2020 : Scheduled interview date received in mail dated 12/27/2019

Day 88 - Feb 04 2020 : Interview and Test (8:00 AM) 😃 (approved on the spot! Waiting for Oath Ceremony Date)

Day 89 - Feb 05 2020 : Had to take photo and finger prints again as system was down during interview and test (7:15 AM at same location as interview).

Day 89 - Feb 05 2020 : Received email and text from USCIS that Oath Ceremony date/time/location details has been mailed out.

Day 110 - Feb 26 2020 : Oath Ceremony (8:00 AM)!  🎉🎊🇺🇸 - Registered to vote + applied for U.S Passport!

Malaysia would be your hub for further Asia travels! We have a budget carrier called "Air Asia". Flying to Bali (Indonesia) would cost you $50. To fly to Japan from Kuala Lumpur would be around $150. My husband is tired of Malaysia now, we fly home once a year and he thinks he had enough of it (hahaha). I assured him that next year will be different, I have Hong Kong and India in our schedule while we are there :idea:

He has been in Indonesia, Singapur, Hong Kong, Japan, China, Vietnam... Has been traveling around for years because his job.

Next March is going to Vietnam again so since my interview is in January too I will be able to travel with him this time ( depends on money...or if I have a job....) I really wish to go! but I need to go to Spain to pick up some of my things so we will see what we do :D that's funny your husband says he is tired!! Hahah but your new schedule visiting India and Hong Kong sounds fun for sure!

Haha! Yes, I think its the many hours of travel that makes one feel lazy and/or tired. It is my hometown, so I am perfectly fine for however many hours it takes to go home :dancing:. Well hey! With his frequent travels, it would be possible to use his sky miles to get a free flight ticket for you! Good luck for your interview in January!!!
