I just checked the USCIS website and my EAD has jumped to "My card was ordered to be produced" and AP has been approved! Woohoo I'm so happy!!

If they catch you working for cash without your EAD or Green card your AOS will be denied and you can even get deported! We are still not 100% admitted in this country until our green card is aprove

Haha indeed you can truly trust your neighbor now ;) our mailman somehow knows me and my wife by name because we used to live at her parents in the house next door and now that we moved and I wrote our names on the new mailbox he brings all letters to our new house even when they are addressed to my wife's parents house ;)

That's nice!!! If the tracking number says its in NY it's safe :) bad thing is when says delivered and you don't have it. It will arrive soon

It's in Jamaica NY which is the nearest sorting center to the JFK Airport.. I'm only guessing with all the letters and packages arriving at JFK every day they are jut crazy busy .. We will know tomorrow for sure :P and yes id rather it being lost in transit rather than saying its delivered.

At least if it gets lost in transit it's USPSs fault but if it's says delivered then it's you vs the postal service and trying to prove your case :S

Just calm down... If your EAD is lost by USPS you will report to USCIS and wait for a new card. The good thing is your already legal

And allowed to work in everify.

Although it's good to have our EAD in hand.

Ok fair enough but can we work without social security number? Because to get one I will need the EAD right ?

Yes, They must have so much work right now. It's random but my mom sent me a package from Spain last month for my birthday and it still hasn't arrived!!!! The tracking number says its in JFK , has been there for weeks already!

But uscis sends it priority so you don't have to worry about it being stuck there for that long, it's an important document.

Ah that's the problem if you lose your card without you SSN ... EAD is needed for your SSN

Just track it online and call your post office. In my case I didn't wait for USPS to deliver it I called up the post office and picked it up.

I feel your pain, my RFE review has been pending for almost 2 months! It is frustrating how they decide whose case moves on after an RFE and who stays stuck for weeks. All we can do is wait ?

Really 2 months? I hope everything will be ok and worth the wait. I can't really wait for 6 months just for the EAD to come.

AOS TIMELINE FROM K1:

Sep- 20- 2014 - AOS sent to Chicago ( delivered sept 22 )

Sep -26- 2014 - USCIS texts/emails received with case number

My EAD arrived at my Local post office thank god so I guess it will be delivered today. I also put a special request with USPS to hand deliver the envelope to me or keep it at the post office for pick up to make sure it doesn't get lost :P

Hi everyone, i received notice that my card was delivered. I checked my mail box and there was no mail. Now i have to go to the post office to inquire about my mail being delivered, when it was not. :protest:

Man I can't believe the same thing happened to you.. ridiculous how they're so careless with people's important documents. Im glad it turned up for you though

9/5/14- Received texts with receipt numbers, Online status updated for all four cases to " Acceptance" & " Initial review "

9/9/14- NOA1 hard copies received in mail

9/12/14- Biometrics letter recieved ( Date set for 9/22/14 )

9/15/14- Biometrics completed

9/16/14- Submitted EAD Expedite through congressman

9/24/14- Case moved to " Testing and interview "

9/26/14- EAD and AP Approved

Hey what happened with your EAD eventually? Did you ever found it after USPS messed up your delivery?
