hey guys i have a question, my AED was mailed to me as of Dec 8, do you know when it will actually arrive in the mail? because i will starting a job next monday and i hope when they e-verify me, it will says i am valid to work.

i don't have my card yet and i hope to get it this week. any input?

Your EAD is valid on the day it went into card production. So even if you don't have the card in hand, you are legal to work now. Just that you need the card as proof lol.

Anybody know how long after everything is approved to receive actual green card in the mail.?? If I go to uscis will they stamp my passport?

On average it takes about 7-10 days though some got theirs in 5 days. Do you have an international trip planned with the next 2 weeks or a job interview that insists on being a LPR to accept it?

Yes I have a job that requires a stamp or green card in hand. I can't use ead..

You may go back to USCIS and ask the officer to stamp an 1551 in your passport.

Try to call USCIS customer service and request for a TIER 2 you might need an infopass appointment for that.

Problem with infopass is sometimes appointments are available 2 weeks away. You could try that and see what date you get, or attempt a walk in. You can show the security officers a copy of your email approval or "Welcome to America" letter if you get that soon.

My interview went well!

Everything was just as described by previous VJ members. My wife and I was asked how wet, day or wedding etc. I didnt have any printed pictures of our wedding so I brought out my iphone which had tons of our pictures of wedding and previous visits.

I was approved on the spot and I was told to complete immunization update only on the form I-693, Report on Medical Examination and Vaccination Record. The officer said once I mail the immunization update in, he will send my green card. The officer gave me until Jan 8th to hand in the immunization update.

I told the officer I had completed an immunization and x-ray prior to arriving in the states but he told me I needed to complete one more form I-693 update only. Once that form gets to the office, he will sent my Greencard.

What can I say, Im glad this process is done and I can continue with my life.

I only have God and everyone here to thank for their support.

Try a walk in and it would be good if you have a letter from your employer that they need your greencard or passport stamp so you can start working.
