Thats good news!!! Does it say date or not yet???

Merry Christmas to you too and enjoy the work day :) are you a nurse or I'm confusing you with someone else??

No date yet for the interview, and yes I am a Nurse and I am so happy to be working now, I passed my DMV written test and they gave me a permit to drive until Feb 2, while I am not yet done with my behind the wheel test.

Thanks! Yeah I figure it's the RFE, but I never imagined it would take this long for his EAD/AP...it's been about 100 days since we got our NOA1! It sucks!

We had our interview today In Philly. We waited for about a 1/2 hour to be called. Once in, the IO mentioned that he was running behind and he was going to make everything as quick as possible to get us in and out. We were asked to show our identification (my husband – passport; me – driver’s license). He then started the questioning with me (USC):

What is your full name?

What is your husband’s full name?

What is your husband’s DOB?

He then asked my husband the same 3 questions. He continued scanning over the file, asked if we had met each other parents, what their names were, where they lived and where each of us were born. Then came the “No Questions”. After a quick Q&A session, he went to copy our ID’s, came back and asked if we had any additional information to add to the file, which we passed over and he didn't glance at.

We had our attorney with us and they chit chatted throughout the 15/20 minutes we were in the office, which made everything seem a lot more easy going. We weren't given on-the-spot approval, but when our attorney asked if there was anything else the IO thinks he may need, he said that everything looked good and he’ll “probably” approve us, with a smirk lol. He then went over the removal of conditions in 2 years, blah, blah, blah.

All in all, it was a lot less stressful than we originally expected. I can’t believe all the prep work we did to just be asked less than 10 questions. He didn’t even ask us how we met! Fingers crossed we’ll hear something before Christmas. Good luck to everyone else on their journey!

@ Nikki181: I got an RFE on my I485 which delayed my applications too. I called uscis and made a service request for the EAD on Dec 9th, 91 days after my NOA1 date. I got a letter in the mail delivered Dec 15th saying my case was within their current processing time and my EAD would be processed within 90 days of the RFE receipt. So technically, the clock was reset AFTER they received my RFE response.

Guess what? On the same day Dec 15th, the status of my EAD and APchanged to card production/approved. This was 55 days after they received my RFE response. I believe my service request made someone take a look at my documents again (even if they had already sent a letter saying it will happen when it happens).

Thanks for the info! What number did you call? I am wondering if the Inquiry section on the website is pretty much the same thing as a service request? That is pretty much what I am hoping for when I submitted it, that someone would just pick up my file and look at it, because right now I feel like it is just sitting in a corner somewhere covered in dust! I'm wondering if I should call now? Lol! Anything to speed this process up! My husband is going crazy not being able to work!

Anyone received their green cards yet? Like my case status doesn't move from acceptance as yet. I already have my EAD and my AP combo card since October already. I hope I don't receive an interview waiver, I know that totally goes slow, I rather get an interview instead.

Thanks for sharing. Very simple questions I see!!

Hope some news in the green soon!! I'm sure it was approved since he was mentioned about ROC he just wanted to make it "interesting" lol

In the original packet we submitted joint bank account statements, copies of cards & mail addressed to both our names, joint cell phone bill, tons of photos, a couple affidavits, proof of shared address, trip itineraries and some emails / cards to each other. We have only been married 3 months as of yesterday, so we didn't have too much. Yesterday at the interview I submitted proof of my husband as beneficiary of my life insurance and 401K, showed that I added him onto my health insurance and some more photos from the past 2 months. We received the approval email this morning that the card was being produced. Total time = 80 days :)

So just got the hard copy of my interview appointment in the mail.

It's January 15 at 9:45AM.

I think the letter looks exactly the same for everybody, with the list of items you must bring then and another paper saying if I've ever been arrested I must bring documents related to that.

Just got my new Social Security card today. It took less than 2 weeks. Now next step is to get my DL! Going to the DMV on Monday. Can't wait!! :)

So just got the hard copy of my interview appointment in the mail.
It's January 15 at 9:45AM.
I think the letter looks exactly the same for everybody, with the list of items you must bring then and another paper saying if I've ever been arrested I must bring documents related to that.

Awesome! :dancing: I'm sure you have plenty of evidences to bring and it will go great! :)
