I sent out my application for AOS since June 20th and on they requested for RFE which I sent back to them and is been 3 months now and I haven't heard anything. The status on the website is still on RFE. Is there a number I can call for them to confirm if they received my RFE? The mail was registered and needed to be sign for by a staff before it can be released. Plz I will need advice on what to do now. Is difficult staying at home all day considering the fact that I'm the man .

You mention that you sent the mail registered? Did you get mail delivery confirmation from USPS?

Have you called USCIS: http://www.uscis.gov/about-us/contact-us/national-customer-service-center

Dont feel bad we are still waiting on our adjustment as well. They received our RFE docs on June 25 and they say that we should hear something within 60 days. I tried doing a e-request but it says that we are still within our processing times and no request can be made at this time. We have the EAD card and travel but no green card yet.

Hang in there and hopefully you'll hear something soon.

What were your RFE's about?

Thanks everyone for your contributions. This is the message on the website. I still have not heard from them or receive the EAD or any other. Is 3 months now. How long does it take to get the EAD? Request for Evidence Response Review.

On July 24, 2014, we received your response to our request for evidence. This case is being processed at our NEBRASKA SERVICE CENTER location. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use the processing time information on our website to estimate when this case will be done. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

@ godsrule

we have the same message too. As you know for each form that you sent in , it will have a separate receipt number. 2 of our receipt numbers have been taken care of and received (work permit and the travel permit/advance parole) and the AOS is still pending. June 25 is when they got all my docs and said that we should hear something in 60 days and now we are at 70 days. you can call 1 (800) 375-5283 and press 1,2,3 in order and be able to talk to someone on the status of your case. You must be the one that is the beneficiary or the one waiting on the decision. they can tell you something, but theres a chance that they will say we got your docs and its still in processing. You may ask for an expedite, but dont hold your breath on it. There are many out there that are in the same boat.

Hope you have some answers soon.

Good luck

June 20 to now is not 3 months. If you took over a month to respond to the RFE, then your whole case was paused during that time.

AOS for my husband

Thank you very much faycel for your response. I was ask to resubmit my birth certificate. The first one I submitted I guess it didn't show everything. So I had not receive any form of doc from them not EAD or AP. @Harpa thanks once again for responding to my message. I actually wanted to say almost 3 months not exactly 3 months. Yes the mail was in the mail box for like 15 days and it took me another 3 days to send it off and it got there in 2 days according to USPS. So that's where I am now.

@ godsrule

Just submit any missing docs and just wait. We all want things to happen when we want them, we are selfish people sometimes, but things will happen when they happen. There are thousands of applications being processed daily and I know that USCIS and the service centers are all doing what they can.

Being the petitioner, I often find myself wanting answers NOW, Im selfish I admit, but its beyond my control, Im powerless ! I troll the USCIS site every day, all day, several times a day, just hoping to see a change in status. It hasnt happened.

Take this time to occupy your time and mind while you go thru this process. Its not easy but its going to happen.

Good luck

Renee
