That's a generic message. I read that in another forum. It doesn't apply to us because NVC doesn't do our interviews. From what I've read, you set your own interview date.

Just checked status changed to "In Transit" but it also says interview date was provided to you by national visa centre

M confuse now, do they actually provide interview dates? Was it same on yours??

I see. We probably aren't the best timeline to follow since we aren't in a hurry :P My fiancé has a wedding to go to in October, so we are taking our time. Please keep me updated though, I'm curious as to how long it takes to get pcc. Thanks!

Yes i already applied as soon as got NOA2. It takes time. Verification is done still waiting for hard copy.

I think so. You can probably call them and ask. They have a number for calling in India, and one for the US. Ready means they're ready to start accepting your documents. Gather everything you need for your interview :) Good time to schedule your medical too. There's one office in Mumbai that does them. It's on the consulate website.

Nope, I actually don't think it changes until after the interview, when it goes either to AP (processing) or Issued. I think we're both stuck here for awhile!
