child's birth certificate without the k-1 beneficiary's name

Hi Everyone!!!

my fiance has a child before we meet and his name is not mentioned on his child's Birth Certificate,is there some risks of denial about this fact?please let me know what do you think about ASAP. THANKS!!!

If he is free and legally able to marry, I don't see why he would be denied. Did he want to include the child as K2?

Of course he wants to include the child as k-2, what should him do???

i'm assuming he is the biological father of the child. He should first get the birth certificate amended and get his name included in it.

Then proceed with the K2 process.

Of course there are risks of K2 petition denial since the birth certificate is the main proof that the child is his to begin with. Have them fix the birth certificate/separate registration certificate first, then process the K2.
