USCIS background/security checks of beneficiary in beneficiary's country?

It seems mostly males who get hit for extended AP, everybody has AP, mostly it is a few days, with obvious exceptions.

Then why only a handful of cases are picked for these lengthy process? if country like Pakistan is flagged RED then every body from Pakistan should be treated same, no?

and if you are picking few cases and letting others cruise through then this is what they are doing with all countries as well, no difference ...There are DEC fillers from UK pending for security checks...

i;m also not arguing with you. Just trying to exchange views. that's why i said i have no clue why they are doing this as at this stage it is not necessary, and after that beneficiary has to go through Interview Process ...and they have right to conduct security checks during NVC or interview process.

Well if they are nationalized in other countries other than UK sure they are in AP.

We live in a difference world. Of course with all the mess going on with UK nationals now killing American's the heat will be turned up for sure.

It's not personal it's a matter of national security.

Yes thats my point, first male beneficiary will get hit during USCIS and will go through all security checks and after getting NOA2 NVC will conduct their own security checks and after interview That Male Beneficiary will get HIT for AP and will be held for extended AP. That's how they do their business...

They should do all those extended and double extended background and security checks after issuing VISA, they can revoke visa if anything they see bad. Just like 129f (K3)...whts the problem in it...

They are not letting us cruise through this NOA2 stage, and i get so stressed when i think about interview....damn those APs...i have listen horrible stories...

K3, K1 go through the same process, you have to pass before issuing a visa, not very logical to check after the visa has been issued, too late.

I have a friend at USCIS since August last year she was in Security background checks forever. They said they wanted to know where her middle eastern ex-husband was and what he was doing NOW. This is a man she divorced more than 25 years ago. She now has an RFE she has been working on since June that gave a laundry list of things they wanted, like sworn affidavits from this mother and father why they didn't attend the wedding. Like say what.

She had over about a ton of evidence and they are asking again for more evidence of a bonfide relationship. We are talking 100's of pages submitted.

And this is an American woman now married to a Nigerian. It happens its a mess. No consistency.

One person from certain countries can submit just a marriage certificate and be approved by USCIS no issue. Another needs everything and then some. And they wonder why we say front-load for Nigerian.

K3 does not get into AP problem, i haven't seen any case. Also the Info Pass lady was suggesting to file K3 if our 129f petition gets approved as it will do the process fast. Yes K3 has to go through same NOA2 process so no difference at this stage, but it will create difference in interview stage.

this is insane, they are making our lives miserable, they have no consistency, its your luck, you get a good VO and you are good to go otherwise he/she will make your life miserable and you wont be able to start your marriage life for quite a while

It also helps if your name does not match anyone on a watch list or that is common to many others... It also helps if the country you come from keeps consistent records that are easily researched and accessed to make security checks faster...

I have seen a K3 not for Pakistan though, and the couple also applied for 130 but it got delayed due to RFE and 129f processed first and they applied for K3.

And k3's whole purpose is to cut down the time. And yes we do not have enough stats to compare if K3 also get stuck in AP or not.
