Just wanted to let others know. My fiancee recently finished her medical at St Lukes. They were going to turn her away because she didn't have the letter with the MNL case # on it even though she said she got it over the phone. I sent her there with 3 printed screenshots of the CEAC tracker and they let her in with that. The CEAC tracker doesn't provide names, but I guess it looked official enough

Same here. I presented them the CEAC status instead of the NVC letter last Monday and it was ok. No questions asked.

I was not asked for the nvc letter since I have the letter from the Embassy. But the person from the other window was asked a letter from the NVC. The applicant just then showed an email and he was able to proceed. But he showed to me his receipt and that there is a small paper attached to it indicating his lacking document.

I had my medical yesterday and i only submitted my appointment confirmation email along with other requirements. But a letter from NVC is not necessary, if available only.

You're correct you only need one or the other. If you have your interview confirmation email that is all that is needed.

My fiancee had her appointment letter, but they were still going to deny her entry because of no NVC letter. This is the Philippines (it's more fun). It's best to be prepared for anything.

All you need is the appointment letter.

And from there when you click on procedures you are directed to this page.

And then clicking on medical it brings you here:

http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3218.html

Which lists the embassy requirements for the medical. (St. Luke's website is not correct)

What should I bring to my medical examination?

  • Appointment letter sent by the National Visa Center or an e-mail confirmation from the Visa Information and Appointment Service.
  • Appropriate medical examination fee.
  • Passport (valid for at least 6 months)
  • Three color pictures (2 inches x 2 inches) with a white background(two are for the visa and one is for the medical report).

Make it 4 pictures. 2 for the 1st day and another 2 on the next day for the releasing.
