I-130 Sent to Frankfurt Today :D

JUUUST sent my I-130 packet off to Frankfurt not 10 minutes ago! (super excited!) So I researched multiple I-130 cover letters along with the instructions to get a feel what I should include, and this is what I came up with:

Please find enclosed my I-130 Petition for Alien Relative on behalf of my husband, LG.

In support of my petition please find included:

Credit card payment form of $420 USD
Personal Information for myself and my husband (i.e. contact info)
**Photocopies of my US passport and German residence permit(s)(**Note Personal Information sheet regarding residence permits)(Permits are translated)
Form G325A for myself (NAHG)
A passport-dimension photograph of myself (name on back of photo)(Attached to respective G-325a)
Form G325A for my husband (LLG)
A passport-dimension photograph of my husband (name on back of photo)(Attached to respective G-325a)
A photocopy of our marriage certificate (accompanied by international version)
**Photocopies of husband's German passports (**Note Personal Information sheet regarding old/new passports)

I left out the introductory words and such, as it doesn't interest you guys I'm sure, hehe. Does it look like I got everything? I decided to refrain from trashing up the packet in including evidence of a bona fide marriage...seems quite obvious based off of our biographic info we've been living happily together for the past 3 1/2 years. Someone else who did DCF in Germany said they did the same without problems as Germany has low fraud.

Wish us luck! And congrats to those who've already been approved! :)

-Husband's new German passport picked up Aug. 28, 2014. (Old one expires 2015)

-I-130 packet sent to Frankfurt (DCF) Aug. 29, 2014!

-NOA1 issued Sept. 9, 2014 (received Sept.13)

-RFE regarding evidence of bona fide marriage received along with NOA1

-RFE reply packet sent to Frankfurt Sept. 30, 2014

-E-mail response (NOA2) received by USCIS Frankfurt on Oct. 23, 2014 (Petition APPROVED Oct. 20!!!) :dancing:

-Paper NOA2 received in the mail Oct. 29, 2014

-Case number assigned by IV unit Oct. 30, 2014 (Received by email Nov. 3)

-Paper "Packet 3" arrived in mail Nov. 4, 2014

-DS-260 and Document Delivery Registration submitted to Frankfurt Nov. 4, 2014

-Mailed in priority date request found on Packet 3 to IV Unit Nov. 5, 2014

-IV ("Packet 3") package sent to Frankfurt Nov. 17, 2014

-Medical completed by Frankfurt panel physician Nov. 17, 2014

-Visa approved, issued AND picked up by the courier all within 7 hours, Dec. 3, 2014 :dance:

Your list looks complete to me, so you should be fine. I don't think you'll need to add more evidence, but even if you did end up getting an RFE, it wouldn't delay your case so much since you're doing DCF ;)

When we dropped our I-130 off the Mister behind the window made it very clear to us that our various pics, joint accounts, life insurances/car stuff was not enough proof for him.

He said "You need to prove you watch the same tv, you eat at the same table and you sleep in the same bed!"

My very frist impression of this whole process/and the people at the embassy was a total different to the one's I've read here on VJ... :(

Hmm perhaps because you're dealing a CR-1 (marriage under 2 years old), Baby's Girl?

Hmm perhaps because you're dealing a CR-1 (marriage under 2 years old), Baby's Girl?

Maybe... But in my opinion, the time we spent together before getting married should count as well... :D:yes:

I don't even think he took a real close look at everything to have even noticed the marriage date... But I don't know... We'll wait and see!!!

Haha well as long as you submitted all the evidence you really have, they'll have to accept that and simply go off of what you both say at the interview. Otherwise, invite them to come and sleep with you in bed and let you cook a nice German Schweinebraten dinner for them for a day's visit to investigate your marriage. ;)
