So it must be lazy reporting then?

it's the daily caller. it's not like there's any links in the article pointing to a source, so we could do some background reading..but you can follow the author on twitter! that's offered up at the end of the 'article'

my god. you are a conservative.

I should have put a smiley after it. I spend enough of my time reading people's opinions that I don't know here on VJ.

While everyone is busy high fiving each other about how awesome their posts are, I guess they missed the part about them getting fined for not accepting an expired green card as proof of work eligibility.

I bolded, underlined, and italicized it this time. Somehow I doubt that will do the trick.

You just committed liburul interruptus. Shame on you

Btw it is a violation of federal law to use e verify to check a current employee

In my former job we accepted SS cards with the wrong amount of numbers. Federal law

what is federal law, accepting fake ss numbers? because damn, at least put forth the effort to buy a legit ss number.

Word right. They use to drag into the HR office with some shady docs. You would have someone 25 who was 60 on paper. Crazy stuff. However as long as they had two forms, we were good to go. Of course my owner wanted to hire them. They were awesome workers. He was a big bad player in the Pub party. He was all about no illegal immigration, cept for him LOL.

Now a shout out to my Conservative forum mates. Those laws are written weak on purpose and it is every bit the fault of the Pubs as much as it is Obama. All that build a wall BS, is a smoke screen

Which of these employment elgibility and verification laws at issue here has Obama written, sponsored, voted for or signed, exactly?

ETA: I agree with that build a wall bullshite being nothing but a big ole' smoke screen. Many love to fall for it, though. Especially here on VJ.

I was speaking to Obamas executive order foolishness and were encouraging illegal immigration.

I said both parties are at fault for this mess.

But you being a denier

A lot of businesses don't use e-verify which I don't understand as it is free and only takes a few minutes to sign up an account. It is discrimination to require any documents above and beyond what is stated on the I-9 for employment verification. That is what this company was doing, requiring more documentation from non-US citizens than was required.
