I-130 in Vermont Service Center for permanent resident

Hi everyone

short version of the question is what is wrong with this service center. The last priority date that have gotten the case number for their I-130 is for 9 month ago, around November 2013, while in every other service center they are issuing the case numbers just in 2-3 month. Do you have any estimation when we will be able to get our case number from this service center with a priority date in March 2014?

01/28/14: NOA1 (Priority Date)

03/24/15: Case Transferred from VSC to CSC

03/28/15: Hard copy of transfer received in mail

07/02/15: NOA2 ( I-130 Approved) - finally after long wait.

07/13/15: NOA2 (I-130 Approved letter hard copy)

NVC -

I-130 Sent : 2013-11-06

I-130 NOA1 : 2013-11-22

I-130 Approved : 2015-04-01 :) (Happy day after waiting for long time)

NVC Received : 2015-04-16 :) (Another joyful day)

Case Number and IIN Received date : 2015-04- 27 (Glory to the lord :) ):

AOS Scan Date: 2015-05-11 (I have been advised to wait 30 days from the date of scan to get case closed)

Case Completed at NVC : 2015-06-04 (Praise the lord almighty :)

Medical Booked: 2015-07-08- Completed

Interview Date: 2015-08-19 (Praise the lord almighty) :)

Interview Result : Visa approved :) Thanks lord

It does not really matter if our I130 is approved now or in a month time as the priortiy date currently is January 2013 however, it will be good to finish everything with NVC incase the priority date becomes current like last year August.

The big C in VB will not happen anytime soon because it created a big mess at NVC and now they are backlog..the demands already high

So peeps spend your precious time wisely

Hey Habel.....Mine is Nov 15 2013 and still waiting.......today they published the processing dates for VSC and still its September 30 2013....so one more month to wait and see when our files gets touched.....I dont know what is going at VSC....Its about 10 months i have been waiting and still no result...... :angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry:

We will get there at the end and as I mentioned before even if we have our i130 approved now and finish NVC stage we will still get stuck as the priority date is nowhere near to ours so lets stay patient and pray that is all we can do so that God can perform his miracles as nothing is impossible for him. Stay strong and I know soon there will be a good news coming. God is great he will change things unexpectedly. There is a light under a tunnel :idea:
