Hello everyone,

We recently had our I-130 approved and are headed to the NVC! My question is regarding the IV package and military documentation. My husband did not serve in the Egyptian military and has a certificate saying he is exempt from service. My questions are:

1. Do we send in this military certificate with the IV package or wait til the interview at the embassy?

2. If we have to submit the military certificate with the IV package, is a copy fine or must it be the official certificate?

Thank you for your help!
