The receipt number is on the NOA1 and it remains connected with your petition. The same receipt number will also appear on the NOA2. Im not sure on the importance of the having a hard copy of the NOA1 but you will need the NOA2 for interview. When your petition is approved and goes to NVC you are assigned an NVC case number. The original CIS (NOA) receipt number is still attached to your petition as well.

its seem like nebraska center stop processing the 1-130 petition.so what happen to our papers now.?i checked the timeline and 1 1-30 petition for spouse is not there.are they forward our papers on other uscis center?

Nebraska forwards I-130's to CSC which is why your receipt number starts with WAC. They are currently processing petitions with a receipt date of September 02, 2005 so hopefully not too much longer before you see an approval. You cant always go by the processing dates either. Mine for example was approved weeks before the posted processing receipt date.
