Visitor visa while K-1 is pending?

Hi everyone I just filed for our K-1 last week and I know the wait is going to take a while. I am visiting my Fiancee in London in October but thought it would be nice if at some point she came for a visit while we wait aswell. Is this possible? Or is it best to just not attempt it? Also she is Romanian but lives and works in the London. Would she still do the Visitor Visa interview in London or would she have to go to Romania? Thanks for any help!

If she was Vwp eligible not likely to be an issue.

Needing a visa complicates matters.

No harm trying, she could apply in either location.

Sadly she does not qualify for the VWP. I am just worried that if she applies for a visitor visa and for some reason gets declined then it would also effect the outcome of the K-1.
