what number are you calling for NVC? I've just got approval (NOA2) via text yesterday. Should I call uscis to make sure they send my file to NVC on a timely fashion?

Don't know what are the next steps for me, need help please.....

Well after waiting 6 months and 10 days today my case status changed and it says my case was transfered to another office

My wife ( usc ) filed i130 for me on 29 sept 2014.

Well is the transfer a normal thing ?

I don't have any answer on your question however annoying this is to have waited that long and instead of an NO2 you get a transfer. However I would be calling those people trying and trying to get a service request because you are clearly out of the processing timeline.

You will not get anything with calling USCIS for all they will tell you is that they are sending your case to NVC. That can take two weeks for them to actually mail it and a week for NVC to assign a number to your case. then from there you start the next phase of fun of waiting but at NVC there are a few things you can actually do and push your case unlike at USCIS. You may need to go to guide and check NVC here and they have detailed info all through. Good luck.

It is a good sign I have read when they transfer a case it is about 2 weeks or 3 for you to get ur Approval. But staying in the same service center was going to delay ur approval even more. It is very commun they transfering cases when the are out of processing time.

Good luck hope next week you have your approval,
