Nebraska SEPT filer ... Has any one got NVC case assigned ??

I am not even sure when my case will finally make it to NVC. Got approved Feb 24 and in the hard copy stated they had forwarded the case but got another online notification on March 9 that they just forwarded the case on that date. I am not sure if I am still waiting for another notification but NVC don't have it yet.

Priority date: Sep 24 2014

Approved: March 6th 2015

I'm a bit confused. Does anyone know what the procedure from this point forward is, and the estimated time for each step? My spouse is applying from Pakistan

Now you will start with the NVC process, visa consular process... once you have the letter from NVC they will provide you with the case number which will give you more instructions for filing out the DS 260 and pay the fees.

Hi Folks. When USCIS approve your case it takes from 2-3 weeks for NVC to register ur case. You have to keep on calling NVC to check if they receive ur file when they do u have to call them back fron 30 to 45 days for they to give u your case number and invoice number and when u have these numbers u can start filling ds-261, pay fee $120, and send AOS and IV package. After that they're going to enable fee $325 and form ds-260. And that's all yoy have to count 60 days since ur OAS & IV was received for NVC so they gonna completed ur case and assign ur interview like 10-20 days after.

Your pass thru NVC will take around 4 months without Checklist.

WHEN your case is in NVC u are the one that have to follow it, dont waste time waiting for notifications in ur mailbox. When u get ur NVC Numbers enter to ceac.gov there is where u are going to fill the forms and pay fees.

Good Luck

Good Morning,

Has anyone with September 23rd PD tried to submit a e-request on uscis web site? I've just tried and got a message stating that I was within the normal processing timelines therefore the system wouldn't allow me to file the e-request. Today is March 16th, how is it that we are still within normal processing timelines? Nebraska Serv Center states 5 months for processing, well I am well over my 5 months. Please let me know if any of you got lucky with this e-request filing?

Thank you,
