I am actually hoping earlier...it has been longer than necessary but we have no choice but to wait.

So, am I. I was expecting my NOA2 by March 5th or 11th but here my estimated time says March 23rd or 28th. I guess it is cuz nebraska is behind. As soon it is in March it is fine by me cuz I know nebraska is the slower center.

Lets keep the hope lights burning. God will see us through soon as this wait is a killer! I have travelled to Africa four times in the last one year and I hope I don't have to before my wife gets here.

I feel for you. I do the same. I travel to the US from Europe every three months to see my husband. Three flight and about 18 hours one way. Soooooo tired of it. I won't get my visa before my next trip over but at least an approved petition would make the long journey a little easier.

Thanks for making me feel I am not the only one is this long seemingly endless journey. The thing I don't really understand is why these people cannot make it even through the service centers across the country. Why would some get approvals within three months in California and others double that time or more? How about distributing workforce and resources and even out at four months across the board? And what about give customers five months to get the job done and actually stick with the promise? Very frustrating indeed.

I feel the same way. They should really distribute the work evenly among the service centres. As it is now, it's the luck of the draw if you're gonna get one of the good service centers or Nebraska. :(

A colleague of mine did her visa journey about five years ago and the process then was about six months from NOA1 to visa in hand. USCIS gave a decision on the I-130 within three months. It's crazy, having immediate family go a year before they can be together.

I think its absolutely unfair for the "not lucky Nebraska finalists". I also think its not fair for US citizens to have to wait so long at the mercy of the system of which we are paying fees large enough to process these paperwork. I wrote to my Senator and explained all this ordeal and I hope somewhere down the line someone with influence will finally do enough. A months should be enough to do background checks and go through a two page application forms and come up with a decision.
