Amazingly honest video emphasizing personal responsibility, a trait which is all too rare today.

I think people of all kinds need to clean up their own houses before blaming others or expecting others to solve their problems.

I don't see Ali giving a counterpoint to the video in this topic. Ali is saying people want to be with their own kind, whites, with whites, blacks with blacks, Chinese with Chinese, etc. He was talking about not wanting race mixing. Totally unrelated subject to what the video in this thread is addressing.

Well I was only thinking about the bit where we're surrounded by all things white and perhaps we take for granted that this is a normal state of affairs and how that might seem strange and possibly exclusionary to someone who isn't white.

We all know what NB is doing. It shouldn't take away completely from the kids point.

Why don't you explain what I am doing. You agree with what the kids says and thinks he has great points' but obviously I did not post it for the same reason. The kid echos the exact same thing I have been saying, I posted it becuse I agree with his viewpoint .

Maybe you think I posted it because I don't agree with his view point ?

There is nothing 'wrong' with black people. There are certain social problems that black people tend to experience - for a variety of reasons. Trying to lump them all together in a finger-pointing way seems to me to be rather patronising. But again, what do I know.

Wow. So it's only ok for black people to post videos about what's wrong with black people, even if the video is of black person saying what's wrong?

I guess I need to add this to the list of things to be careful about. Probably best to not even talk to, or about black folks. Seems it's a minefield of ever changing rules.

Ahh, so since NB posted it, it has no value? Got it. There's been more than a few in this thread (Not NB) who agreed with the points made in the video (including myself). What about them?

no, it's a youtube video and he starts by saying that he's talking to all his black people. i am not one of his black people. nb has nothing to do with it.

Not sure why it's called an "Epic Rant" The guy laid out his thoughts on the issue. Nothing really Epic or rant like about it.

well, because anyone can post anything to youtube. and he might be dead on point, for the black people he considers his own but..'stop blaming racism, take responsibility' is way too simplistic a vantage for my taste.

I wonder how many old white dudes passed judgement on this guy the moment they saw what he was wearing, then had a change of heart once they listened to what he was saying. Ya know?

i wonder how many old white dudes felt like digging into his background to vet his personal character before agreeing with him.
