I call nvc just now and lady told me that my wife case in under reviewed now for checklist I send on Aug 15 so it's that mean I should hear something soon??

Well, got my approval letter exactly one week to the day after the Supervisor marked the case complete in the system. I am going to call the NVC just for the hell of it.

Yeah, I don't understand why they like to keep the case complete news a secret for exactly one week... but they do so without fail!

Let us know what you hear from our friends at the NVC. It sounds like they had not done any scheduling when they went home last night. :clock:

Latest reports are that NVC is reviewing documents they received on August 1st.

Well that was a waste of my time. The lady could barely speak English. She seemed to be new. I asked her questions and she could not answer them and then hung up on me! hahaha!

She did say the will start scheduling November interviews on Oct 1. She was a NEWB, so who knows.

She wont last long.

I don't think the phone reps have any knowledge of when scheduling will start. They read on their screen if an interview has been scheduled for a particular case and that's it.

Hello to you all,

We got the original marriage certificate from Zagc today but i must confess that it was very difficult because we were just moving up and down but hurray we got it and we sent it to the embassy in the morning by pony express has they have requested on the 221g. Now we will start calling them and emailing them as soon as they receive it on tuesday.

Congratulations to those who have already collected their visas and also gotten their interview date from NVC and for those people who are still waiting for their interview dates hang in there, you will get it pretty soon. Thanks

Just got a letter from NVC addressed to my husband that days, "we updated the mailing/email address for this case. Please continue to notify the NVC of any change of mailing/email address, or change and personal situation that may affect the principal applicant entitlement to a Visa."

The funny thing is, we didn't change anything. I'm on hold now to find out what's going on, will ask about interview while I'm on the phone. I only hope they answer soon, on hold 18 minutes and I have to leave for work in another 20.

I think this has happened to other people when their case is being worked on. Hopefully they are scheduling interviews.

We got that, too. Like twice; once after the interview email and again after the case left or was being prepared to ship to the embassy. I never called and all was fine. :)

I think this has happened to other people when their case is being worked on. Hopefully they are scheduling interviews.

Just noticed the date on the letter is 9/17 and was only addressed to my husband, I did not get one. Maybe that is the date we got a cc? I found out about the cc on 9/19 because that is when I called, and we both got the email on 9/22 so our emails are both still working. I'll try to call when I get home from work at 9pm.

After 33 minutes on hold, I just got disconnected... No time to call back now, I am fuming!!!! Have to try back later

Noooooooooooooo... I can't take the suspense!

Good thing today is friday: AustinCanada has been saying all week that he would call today.

I'm the USC petitioner. My wife is British (now a USC!!!), generally awesome, and amazingly patient.
