While I was writing the previous message. I have received a confirmation mail re: CC

Our CC was on Sept 15th so it was exactly one week after CC. (I was expecting this as I had read all the comments here before :dancing: )

22-SEP-14

Dear Sir/Madam,

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview.

Sincerely,

Director

National Visa Center

Hello All,

I have just got off the phone with NVC. The lady told me (didn't catch her name) that our documents are still at NVC (our CC was on Sept. 15th) and they have not scheduled the interview yet. She says that she doesn't know when the interview's going to be scheduled. The documents will be sent to the embassy after the interview is being scheduled.

I should be receiving the confirmation mail re: CC very soon.

So I thought I would like to share this info with you as some of you may have similar timeline as we do.

Hanging there! :goofy:

P.S. I am glad that I found this site. (F) I love people helping each other and I wish all the administrators/officers were like you guys..

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone have any experience with an Embassy saying they have not recieved any documents from NVC yet? Our case was expedited on August 12 and NVC shipped out our documents on August 13th. Using the DHL tracking tool, I saw that our case was delivered on August 18th to the Sydney Consulate

My husband and I have been emailing back and forth with the emabssy and last week he was told to get his medical. However, after getting his medical, he emailed again wondering when his interview would be and the embassy stated they are still waiting on documents from NVC. I contacted NVC, NVC states all documents have been sent out.

What do we do? It's a he said/she said at this point and my husband and I are stuck in the middle. No one knows where our documents are, our originals...does anyone have any experience

In this?!

Please help.

Sorry your dwheelness. :(

Spoke to Reese and what a B she is said I DO NOT HAVE A CASE COMPLETE that it's under Supervisor Review to get it complete and can take up to 30 days to get this done. But she didn't think it would take that long.

I called again right away and spoke to Torry nicer but of no help and said the same your case is not Case Complete and it's in the hands of a Supervisor asked if I could talk to them the obvious NO we are not in the same department and they don't take calls.

This is why I hesitated to post I had CC, I just can't believe thing they say. :(

Hi Soloenta,

I am so sorry to hear that. You must be confused and devestated.. I can feel your pain. (even though we have not met in person)

Since it is under Supervisor Review, I believe that means it just a matter of time.

I think you have done everything you had to do now so just be patient. We are with you (F)

Aww thank you so much I truly appreciate your kind words NikiT your so kind. Yes there is nothing more I can do so I'll I have not choice but to wait. I wish the Embassy would take all these things into account but that would be way to much to ask of them. :( Thank you again. (L)

That sucks.

I think some people have had luck calling and getting a supervisor on the phone. Amanda was eventually able to resolve her case after speaking to supervisor Octavio who completed her case within a week.

I hope it doesn't take any longer than that for you!

Hi everyone! I cannot believe I only became aware of this site now! Nearly at the end of this dreadful process that began for me in August of 2013. I had my case complete confirmed by NVC on Sept 10th, so I am one of those hopefuls for getting an interview date in the next round I believe, according to the amazing spreadsheet you have put together dwheels. Thank you! You have given me hope! My 2 year old, my 6 month old (both US citizens) and I are dying to be with my husband again and starting our life together in Alaska! I really am excited to find out if the interviews for Canada will start being scheduled soon. Thank you to everyone who contributes here and answers questions, I have read every post and will be following you advice to the letter to see this process to the end.

Welcome to the group. Congratulations on the CC. We are all hanging on for this week(probably Thursday interviews should start being scheduled).

This is one of those situations you have to just stay on the embassy. Since NVC said they sent it (when did they send it), That DHL tracker even though you saw something go to your embassy doesn't mean it was yours.

Expedites are iffy and its probably at embassy they just haven't logged it in yet. Just stay on their butt is all you can do. Sorry for all your run around.

Thank you Austin your such a wonderful friend, I'll check out the link.

Yes I have read about the interviews taking a month or two and that is a miracle in itself I'm grateful for that.

What is special about the Egyptian Embassy and a couple others is they put more people mostly males in AP consistently. If you read some of the interview questions they are shocking at least to me. They will insult the USC spouse to the beneficiary, it's a long story. When I've told it a lot of people agree with the Embassy so I'll leave it at that.

Thank you I'll do my best to relax. :) You are one special and amazing person Mr. Austin ;) (F)

Whats' been a great thing lately is no AP. No delays nothing . Breezing through. Only goodness and blessing for my peeps on this thread. Now outside this thread well you are on your own.

The community the togetherness brings a good vibration I tell you. :goofy:

I mean we have seen Egypt go from 8 month wait to 6 month wait to 4 to 3 now 1 month. AP from years to months to nada.

Keep it going embassy. We love it. (L)

That sucks.

I think some people have had luck calling and getting a supervisor on the phone. Amanda was eventually able to resolve her case after speaking to supervisor Octavio who completed her case within a week.

I hope it doesn't take any longer than that for you!

TY Stackeria, I asked for a supervisor they said they can't ask for one because it's in the hands of a supervisor I called three times. But I'll see if I call again tonight or tomorrow morning. Thank you. :) (L)

Don't get sad. A week before we've received the letter saying our case was complete, my husband had called the NVC and they replied that our case was being reviewed and that we should give them 60!!! days. After one week, we've got the email with the magic words on it =).

Thank you it gives me a lot of hope. I just wish they hadn't said CC when it wasn't. :) ty (L)

Aw, I'm so sorry to hear this, Soloenta! I hope the supervisors get into gear and fix this ASAP!

Thank you I do hope so I'll let you all know. :)(L)
