After 474 days, I finally get to be one of those annoying people that post that their interview was approved (today)!

A special shout out to dwheels for her servitude to the visa journey site, as well as everyone else here that makes up this little family.

This is not the end of the visa journey, but certainly a leap in the right direction. As I always say, nothing worthwhile in life comes easily. And this was certainly worth it. Will catch y'all on the flip side for the next step. Xx

I know it's also probably based on embassies. Correct? Thank you and we appreciate all your help and saylin's too.

Nope not true. It really is a timing issue and now that they seem to be scheduling every 2 weeks it doesn't matter. There use to be a drop dead date if you weren't done about the 20th you were pushed to the next month. But NVC now seems to be scheduling until they either run out of petitions or slots.
