Hi all. Hubby had his medical yesterday. Cost $580 AUD including vaccinations. Holy hidden costs Batman! Now we just wait for the results to be posted to us to take to the interview.

Hubby booked his flight to the interview this morning (Another $200 AUD). I spent the day yesterday compiling documents and paperwork for him to take to the interview. We have decided I will stay home with the kids and not go along to the interview because it will be a long day and with these extra costs we dont want to waste any more money for me to fly with him.

They told us it would take 3-4 days to receive the medical results but they actually took just over a week, and that was express post to an area that generally receives express post overnight from Melbourne.

Yes, it was Bridge St. Medical was $405, vaccine consult $25, and the 3 vaccines he needed added up to another $150. What can you do when they only give you 2 options in the whole state? (and the other one was even more expensive)

I am glad we booked our medical now, so don't have to stress about how quickly the results get to us (we have 3 weeks until interview). We don't live too far from the clinic (about 20 minute drive) so we could've picked up the results in a pinch.

All in all, not too painful. My husband avoids the doctor like the plague, so if he can do it, anyone can. The only bad part was waiting around in between the chest x-ray, blood test, paperwork etc. It took just over 2 hours.

hi everyone! husband medical is tomorrow! and i am putting together copies of paper work i have send him n my original Birth Certificate..... i saw a post by someone here saying they r going to take the NOA1-2 too....is that required? should i send that??

does anyone know that CEAC changes status to "Administrative Processing" before the interview? my husband haven't had interview yet.... now it's "Administrative Processing"....kinda weird.. I thought it would show "ready" until the interview...

I just am soo upset :(

Requested for an earlier interview date. Embassy said they have stopped rescheduling interviews since a long time :(

I have my interview on 1st Oct, and 2- 6th Oct, embassy is shut due to public holiday. I wont be getting my passport and visa in hand before 7th or 8th Oct :(

hey guys! got my interview scheduled for 1st Oct. I checked status on the CEAC page and it shows 'Ready'. Does that mean it has already been shipped to New Delhi? or is it ready to be shipped?

Has anyone waiting for an interview called NVC this week? I last called on Friday evening and they hadn't scheduled us in yet. It looks like they are done with October scheduling?

I'm the USC petitioner. My wife is British (now a USC!!!), generally awesome, and amazingly patient.

Our AOS fees changed to N/A on Friday 9/12, but my husband could call them to check only on Monday, they confirmed that case is completed and said that they cannot predict anything on the interview. And that as soon as they schedule it they will send a notification...

So I guess they are done with October scheduling... But it would be really nice to get an interview in October!! )))

Thanks! I hear you. They were still scheduling October interviews on the 11th when we received case complete. I haven't seen any interviews scheduled since then. I guess we just missed the cut. :ranting:
