maybe this should be in a different thread.. has anyone waited more than 2 weeks to hear back after your case is approved for an expedite and arrives at the consulate.. The consulate in casa is not answering the phone at all during its alloted time which is only from 2-4 on tuesday and thursday. they also havent responded to any emails... I am beggining to think there is a serious problem at the consulate beyond my paperwork.. has anyone had luck with Casa recently?

He said they only asked:

"Where did you meet your wife?"

"Where does she work?"

"What does she do?"

He said there was hardly anyone at the embassy. He got there at 8:45am for his 9:30am interview and was out by 9:36am.

These are preety easy.I am so scared for the interview.

We were over prepared. I wouldn't use our experience to go off of since you will be going to a different embassy.

Our official paper interview letter arrived yesterday... 2 days after my husband had his interview and the same day his status changed to Issued. Nice work NVC ;)

Does anyone know where we can update our address for correspondence from NVC? I don't want any further mail coming to this address.. Do I need to call/email them or is it something to do with USCIS?

Just called NVC and received my interview date. How come NVC is so late informing us with things. I read somewhere here that they change interview dates without informing you, is this true? Because i Haven't receive my email yet just the date.

i am utterly perplexed....i dont even know how to react! i got an email from NVC and i opened it thinking its an email saying case is completed and to wait for interview date..... but it was the interview letter email!!!! i cant wait till hubby wakes up to see this :) Oct 16th is the date....i did not expect this at all!! Had thought it wouldnt be until November

On the letter it says to bring petitioner birth certificate.... did anyone else at Mumbai consulate also get that?? did you have the original birth certificate for Petitioner??

Woke up to my interview letter!!! 7th October!!!!

I haven't had internet for 2 days, so haven't been able to call since Monday (since I use Skype) so this was a huge surprise as I thought it would take at least a week to get the email.

The waiting has been worth it to get such an early date, since Sydney only does these interviews on Tuesdays, this is the best possible date in October we could have gotten!!! :dancing::dancing: :joy:
