I called on Friday last week, Sept 5th to get verbal confirmation that our case was complete as of Aug 29th. Received case complete email yesterday. Called tonight to check on interview and it had been booked.

So seems like they are scheduling just the way it's been explained on VJ.

I hope there will be a 2nd batch of Oct interviews scheduled soon, as I also still do not have an interview date and my CC was 26 August.

I hope they are really scheduling again, I just want an interview date already. I don't care if its going to be the last week of October or the first week of November as long I'm going to have it soon and be over with this dreadful process. I haven't receive even my CC email.

Waiting for cc email and interview letter

CC was on September 8 and when I called NVC they said that case is in queue and interview could be

October or even November!!!

Got a scare with a positive TB test result for one of my kids, but a subsequent x-ray confirmed he's healthy. Turns out sometimes BCG (TB) vaccinations can trigger a positive result. All my kids took it as is standard here in Kuwait.

CEAC now says "in transit", so let's hope next week we can check with the embassy, if we could get an interview date even sooner.

I have PCC on feb 2014 should i apply new one?

DOS guidelines say PCCs are good for one year from issue, even if they have a shorter validity and expire before the interview. I'm not sure this applies, however, to PCCs that expire while still in your possession. I would ask the Consulate to be sure. (Don't forget to let us know.)

Applicants may need to bring an additional police certificate to the interview. If the following three

items are all true, the applicant needs to bring an updated police certificate to the interview:

· He or she is more than 16 years old;

· He or she obtained a police certificate more than one year ago; and

·" He or she still lives in the country that issued the police certificate." what does this line means
