Still no email received from NVC for interview confirmation. Is this normal wait time or should I worry about that?

Really easy, didn't require any of our documents and only asked a couple of simple questions - what work my husband will do, where we will settle, what relation our joint sponsor is.

2 weeks from this moment we will be en route to LAX for POE :) hooray!!

Congratulations! That is wonderful. Glad it was easy and painless for you.

Congrats!!

We were approved last Tue.

We had a 9:00am appt (arrived at 8:15) and did not leave until after 11:30. They finally interviewed us after the initial paperwork was processed at 11:00.

We found the interview fairly straight forward, but with some clever wording on the interviewer's behalf. We obviously had no concerns however.

I don't think it's as "easy-peasy", as a lot of the prior interviewers said it was...

A guy right before us was denied and it was heartbreaking to see.

And I think it's terrible that everyone's interview is amplified.

We haven't submitted our review yet, but will as they are really helpful.

Safe travels and congrats again (feels great to be through it).

What day did you receive your interview date? We never received a CC email, only an interview letter! I think it took about a week for us to get the interview letter come through, have you made sure they have the correct e-mails on file, or if they are going into your spam folder? :)

Thank you so much! It's finally great to be over...It just seems the stress and worry goes away! We feel like we can control our lives again.. Which is nice. Sunday was the first day we were both relaxed and we're worried about anything.

Congratulations on your interview and cannot wait to hear your big news.. when it ships to the embassy, and they receive it.. try getting an earlier date! :)

I must be a real relief to finally able to plan ahead! When are you guys moving?

We got the interview letter this morning, I guess it just takes them time to send it...but then again NVC takes their sweet time with everything :D Just called and made an appointment with the panel physician for next week, let's hope we will be able to change the interview date. Even a week sooner would be great, since husband has a job interview in FL early October and I'd like to go with him.

IR1 took 520 days....

Congratulations! You can breathe now! Good luck at POE :D.

Hey guys, couldn't work out how to post on the UK portal, but wanted to ask do the Knightsbridge doctors still take your word for it that you have had chickenpox? I asked my doctor but my records don't go back that far. Should I get an immunity test done privately before my medical, or is this a bit of overkill?

Also, is the medical information on vaccines still out of date? As it says I don't need a flu shot if I am under 49 years, is this still correct in oct-march?

They will take your word for it. Verbal response is good enough. Also, not sure on the flu shot, read somewhere that everyone was to have one from Oct or November.. If you're not sure.. call Knightsbridge. They are brilliant answering questions and telling you what you need! Good luck!

Congrats!!

It is a big relief. We are looking at the 18th, since flights are $331 one way per person! (With luggage included!). Just waiting for the passport to be back now! Finally, the interview letter.. Seems more real now! Wow! Are you moving to Florida? We're going to be in the central Florida area! :) I hope you get the earlier interview date!
