:D We are super-excited! And congratulations again on the approval!

Still not interview letter, or CC email for that matter. CEAC says "at NVC"

What day did you receive your interview date? We never received a CC email, only an interview letter! I think it took about a week for us to get the interview letter come through, have you made sure they have the correct e-mails on file, or if they are going into your spam folder? :)

Thank you so much! It's finally great to be over...It just seems the stress and worry goes away! We feel like we can control our lives again.. Which is nice. Sunday was the first day we were both relaxed and we're worried about anything.

Congratulations on your interview and cannot wait to hear your big news.. when it ships to the embassy, and they receive it.. try getting an earlier date! :)

Hey guys, couldn't work out how to post on the UK portal, but wanted to ask do the Knightsbridge doctors still take your word for it that you have had chickenpox? I asked my doctor but my records don't go back that far. Should I get an immunity test done privately before my medical, or is this a bit of overkill?

Also, is the medical information on vaccines still out of date? As it says I don't need a flu shot if I am under 49 years, is this still correct in oct-march?

CONGRATS TO ALL RECENT CCs, Interview Dates, & POE!! Can't wait to be in this thread in the future. Im just wondering if there have been any recent egypt interviews scheduled? Any estimates on waiting times for interview after cc?

Well Egypt was a 4 to 8 month wait than the last 2 months just about 2 to 4 months so here hoping things are getting shorter and better.

Welcome to the fun group hope your CC comes soon.

I have a question

How long medical exams are good for before POE ?

my wife completed her medical exams back in april, her interview was supposed to be Aug 13th but the embassy keep telling her she will be asked to come in for an interview later. It's now been almost a month from the date NVC provided. I'm getting nervous as her medical exams are getting close to 6months in case she gets the visa in few weeks. I hope she will not be asked to do the medicals exams again before coming to the states.

Any info would help

Thank you all

Medicals for immigration are good for 1 year but you must POE within 6 months time.

So are you saying she doesn't even have an interview now? You need to email the embassy state the medical date and that you need to be scheduled ASAP.

Is this a reaffirm case or this is your first time through? What does your status say on the CEAC status tracker? This is very odd.

dwheels, thanks as always for your reply. I did send in a complete updated I-864 package with my husband but apparently the consular officer who interviewed my stepsons didn't ask for one piece of paper before saying APPROVED! From the time my husband stepped up to the window with the boys he says the guy was joking with them, making cracks about my husband and his entourage of personal bodyguards (all four boys are pretty tall, lol). He asked them a few simple questions, how old were they when my husband and I married, where are they going to live in the US, what they do to keep busy at home. My husband said it was so anticlimactic after all the nerves of the week to have such a good-natured guy let them breeze on through. Didn't ask for copies, the photographs, not one thing! And my poor husband schlepped around the 80 pounds of paperwork I sent him with all day. But better over-prepared than under! It's good to know prayer does work, because I believe 100% that God put my family in front of that particular window on that particular day. What a blessing!

I had tears when I read about your sons interview and how fun it seemed and all that worry and anxiety went away. So happy you will all be reunited. I so love this part of immigration. Like it should be. Congratulations.

Thanks dwheels76 for your insight

I'm so confused at this point. I did send emails on several occasions but no answers. I also called them but they keep saying she is going to be called soon. I just hope she gets her visa very soon that way she can be here before the medical exams hit the 6month mark. The status is still showing READY for interview yet she still didn't have an interview. hopefully she will be approved this week :clock:

Interview done this morning and approved!! :) :)

Really easy, didn't require any of our documents and only asked a couple of simple questions - what work my husband will do, where we will settle, what relation our joint sponsor is.

2 weeks from this moment we will be en route to LAX for POE :) hooray!!
